It's well documented by anthropologists  and other tribes. The Iroquoians called us "bark eaters" because we refuse to resort to cannibalism during famines. We hated both the Siouian and them because of it. It's documented by missionaries that we wouldn't eat raw meat or people.

Read some Micheal and Kathy Gear, M.R. Harrington and Moravian and Quaker accounts before you spout such B.S.

That's nice dear, did you want a cookie?

How’s your reading comprehension champ? He’s already said he’s a bark eater, why else do you think his name is Piney?

It's not opinion. It's documented archaeology and anthropology.

You losers really can't stand it when someone disagrees with you.

No, we want proof.

Show me a account where Algonquians were cannibals.

Have any evidence to back up your claims?

Sadly my google of “Alqonquin Cannibalism” resulted in a number of links utterly refuting your claims.

Sorry Dude.

Your the one making personal attacks instead of refuting my claims with proof.

You can't even support your opinion. Good debating skills. Well done.

All we are asking for is evidence.

Look.

Q: Were Native Americans cannibals?
A: Not for the most part, no, but there were some groups who were. The Aztecs were notorious for ritual cannibalism (warriors would eat a strip of flesh from enemies they had slain in combat). Some people dispute this, but the Aztecs' own written and oral histories seem to support it as the truth. The Karankawa tribe of southeast Texas was also said to practice ritual cannibalism on defeated enemies. There were a few Amazonian tribes who practiced funerary cannibalism (family and friends would eat part of a dead tribal member's body as a religious ceremony at the funeral). Finally, the Carib people of South America were said to kill and eat prisoners of war, though it's been pointed out that the Spaniards who made this claim were lining their own pockets by doing so (Queen Isabella had forbidden her subjects from selling Africans, or Indians, as slaves unless they were cannibals). http://www.native-languages.org/iaq13.htm

Of all the North American Indian tribes, the seventeenth-century Iroquois are the most renowned for their cruelty towards other human beings. Scholars know that they ruthlessly tortured war prisoners and that they were cannibals; in the Algonquin tongue the word Mohawk actually means "flesh-eater." There is even a story that the Indians in neighboring Iroquois territory would flee their homes upon sight of just a small band of Mohawks. Ironically, the Iroquois were not alone in these practices. There is ample evidence that most, if not all, of the Indians of northeastern America engaged in cannibalism and torture—there is documentation of the Huron, Neutral, and Algonquin tribes each exhibiting the same behavior. https://www.ohio.edu/orgs/glass/vol/1/14.htm

Thanks Dan! I'm just waking up. Now I'm going to the store for coffee and then to cut some trees. This isn't even a flow of Woo Milk. Just pure crap, so I'm no longer wasting my time.
