RoofGardener Posted September 16, 2018 #1 Share Posted September 16, 2018 Hi there everybody, Is there an option to filter out the "so-and-so reacted to a post..." messages, so that we only get the "so-and-so has quoted you.." messages ? I'm normally VERY interested if somebody has quoted me, but much much less so if they have just "liked" my posts ?
Saru Posted September 16, 2018 #2 Share Posted September 16, 2018 You can adjust your notification settings for various actions/events here: https://www.unexplained-mysteries.com/forum/notifications/options/
RoofGardener Posted September 16, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted September 16, 2018 Thanks for that Saru. Sadly, that page doesn't seem to provide any sort of filtering to the top-of-screen notifications feature ? (the icon that looks like a bell). It merely discusses push-notifications (the ones that pop up at the bottom-right of the screen), and even that is an "all-or-nothing" proposition. I suspect the feature doesn't exist (yet) ? Saru Posted September 16, 2018 #4 Share Posted September 16, 2018 The page I've linked to controls the notifications that appear in your notifications list (accessible via the bell icon). For what you've requested, you would need to: Enable "Someone quotes a comment or post I made" Disable "Someone gives reputation to something I posted"
