How about tolerance of obnoxious politicians? That's gotta be one of the most valuable superpowers in today's world. I'll go in a room with Blair, Crooked Hillary, _anyone_

Another prize no one will win.

I know someone who could easily win that, and he could've won Randi's million, but he won't come forward.

He prefers his life just the way it is.

I too know this, but it is  my psychic powers telling me this.

I am off to claim the prize.

The best test is to cancel it and tell no one.

A strong vibrating energy between his hands. I think it's a Psi Ball, but I don't know much about them.

A psi ball is an energy construct formed between the hands. Its a beginner construct. The common sensations reported are a strong magnetic feel, heat, cold, or like static electricity. Yet there is no evidence for there existence.

He creates heat and vibrations with his hands about a foot apart, and he can turn it on and off at will.

The question is, can it be tested? Can he raise the temperature of thermometer from that distance? Can he move an object with those vibrations?

I've got no idea what he can do with it, but it must do something!

In many ways, the group's research is less about validating the existence of such abilities and more about understanding the psychology behind why people believe they possess them in the first place.

There are a few reasons:

The parent tells their child it is on their family and the child is special and has a gift. The child grows up believing it.

Someone has watched or read about it and believe it is posible, so start to "practice", over the years they are so onto believing in it, they believe they have psychic powers.

Frauds...ah yes, the biggest of them all, because the frauds know there are thousands out there who believe it is real and will pay these frausters money.

I'd love someone to prove they could, but I doubt it.

If there was a natural way for any of these psychic powers, then there would be at least one animal on the planet that could already do it.
