Harmonic chrystals and chanting to counter-act the devastation, kinda like a slow motion sudden impact.

I wish a big chunk of chondrite  would land right on Sedona and smash those noisy crystal chanters flat.

They're keeping me awake.

But alienz is better anyway. Less work for me.

Out of all the doomsday scenarios presented here, that has to be the funniest. Because it would take so friggin long to happen.

Not necessarily.

I won't have quite enough money by then to retire on.

What do you recommend?

It's not really a problem.

We just put everybody on the equator and have them all run east to west until we get back up to speed.

Boy! I did not think that my suggestion would provide so much childish entertainment. It seems Every Tom, Dick, and Harry is getting their two cents worth. But I'm glad for having provided a little of Plato's more amusing side, as philosophy can be such a dry subject. Besides, it served/serves as an amusing digression from having to bash the Hebrews with more jokes, and who still cannot have their rightful Exodus from their bondage and abuse by the task masters acknowledged. .

But really, perhaps a magnetic reversal is more probable to occur. That would quiet some of the more scientific and logical minds. As then the only cardinal direction change, North and South, would be noticed only by compasses, since this is attracting so much needling from the regulars, speed readers and all.

But, not to raise any more eyebrows, shall I suggest that perhaps using that story on the reversal of the earth's axial rotation, the ancient sages were letting us know, disguised in the form of a myth, that they knew of Venus' and Uranus' opposite spin from the rest of the planets in our solar system?  Well, Uranus sort of.

Well....with a whistle headed doomsday theory like that you left yourself wide open.

Sooo......Anymore scenarios on how Plato predicted the wrath of your imaginary friend?  Major earthquake across the CAMP?  The Western micro-continent is too stiff and causes North Amerca to bounce back towards the Atlantic?

The Eastern and Western micro-continents squeeze together causing North America to fold like a book in the middle? We'll have a new mountain range. The Mississippi Spine. :)

Plates pulling apart will cause Atlantis to rise in the Mid-Atlantic. It will unfold from the crust like a kids pop-up book.

We already have that. It's called "Iceland" and before that the Siberian Craton popped up in the same spot.

And how do you expect something to rise when it never went down?

Great. That’s a cue for Mario or whatever shamed calque he uses for a screen name now to whine about how unfairly he’s been treated.
