The Govt of the United Kingdom in 2016 was the Conservative and unionist party. In 2017 it was the Conservative and unionist party, and still today the Govt is the Conservative and unionist party.

The same party is in power, the same government is not. They were elected on the promises in their manifesto and are not in any way bound by the previous government's promises.

It is in fact the same party and with that Govt. So who do you blame for austerity and such things as the bed room tax? The tory party but not this Govt.

Government is not the same as party.

Who's in charge over there? The people, the parliament or the government? Who's running the show?

The obvious andwer is the government but they don't seem to have a clue what they are about.

The battle for the referendum is over events have moved on. Metaphorically your the last one remaining ankle deep in ticker tape and party poppers of defeat. Its time you went home. Switch out the light.

Clearly the Govt, the same establishment that doesn't want to leave the EU. They didn't want to leave before the referendum and they still don't now.

All actions to date are one of remain. Before and since the referendum they've hoped economic and political events would sway public opinion, that's why we've had 28 months of project fear, and no rebuttal from the Govt. In fact the Govt as played its part and continues to do so, the UK Govts actions are not of a country leaving the EU but a country in accession of joining the EU.

That's why extending the transition to 2021/22 is now mooted. Just look at the actions of the PM and chancellor. Five years to leave the EU, and continuing to contribute to the EU's budget. Funny how the EU is looking to double its budget in the next spending round. Doubling the UKs contribution in the process.

Brexit is a long way from being over as the goal by the establishment is to remain. Just how they you do that without democratic and constitutional crisis is still being figured out by the deep state.

Events are real opener for the public and are only confirming what's been suspected for years the disconnect and contempt those in parliment hold the voting public in.

Brexit will happen, but I think not as we expect, the winds of political revolution is in the air. Woe betide Parliament. They that sow that wind, shall reap the whirlwind. (and I can't wait)

And something that is integral to the above. (IMO)... is that the EU is part of a wider agenda -

- the eventual establishment of a One World Govt. / economy / currency - that would by it's
very nature have to be Totalitarian - and even if the politicians (Useful Idiots?) who are now getting it all
together believe they have progressive and altruistic motives... once established it would be a
repressive dictatorship waiting to happen... human nature being what it is... and the introduction of
Artificial Intelligence would just add another layer of elite / deep state control..

I think that the only checks and balances to pull the brakes on a future global dictatorship is to keep
countries sovereign, independent and democratic...

and well educated... and I mean proper education not indoctrination...

So you don't see a place for yourself in this plan?
