I think this was around the time Donald Trump started to talk about the murder in a more concrete tone.

Most probably, and yet still unwilling to attach any blame to Mohammed bin Salman.

This whole saga just gets uglier and uglier.

Apparently, the White House is considering removing an enemy of the Turkish president from the US in order to placate Turkey over Khashoggi's murder.

Things are about to get interesting:

CIA concludes Saudi crown prince ordered Jamal Khashoggi’s assassination
The CIA has concluded that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman ordered the assassination of journalist Jamal Khashoggi in Istanbul last month, contradicting the Saudi government’s claims that he was not involved in the killing, according to people familiar with the matter.

In a not so stunning turn of events the WH appears to not be listening to the experts, again.

U.S. State Department says no 'final conclusion' on Khashoggi killing

Quote

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The State Department on Saturday said the U.S. government has not made a final conclusion on who was involved in the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi amid media reports of a Central Intelligence Agency assessment that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman ordered the killing.

...and then the C.I.A released its findings without first showing the White House. I guess someone wants to make sure that Turkey doesn’t get rewarded with its slow leak blackmail of an important ally.

Sure it is the right thing to do but there are a lot of forces at play at the moment trying to sweep this ugly incident under the rug. Notice how the price of oil has been plummeting and how Trump has gone cold on Iran? Reality always wins over right.

Trump was briefed on the tape but refused to listen to it because it's, as he put it, "a suffering tape."

In Extraordinary Statement, Trump Stands With Saudis Despite Khashoggi Killing
President Trump declared his unswerving loyalty to Saudi Arabia’s crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman, on Tuesday, declaring that the prince’s culpability in the killing of the journalist, Jamal Khashoggi, might never be known.

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/11/20/world/middleeast/trump-saudi-khashoggi.html

Oh gee, what a surprise, said no one ever.

Sorry I missed something.  How did the Turks get the tape?  Maybe I missed a page.  I have been wondering that since the beginning.  It seems rather strange that they have possession of it .  It must be an important issue for them if they make that public.  DO they have tapes from other embassies?

It appears that the general consensus is that they had listening devices planted in the Saudi embassy.

I read that Khashoggi also wore a smart watch and his missus had it his phone and both were recording his final moments.

Turkish authorities had (falsely) stated that audio had been transmitted via Khashoggi's smartwatch. It's suspected they said that in an effort to hide the fact that they had bugged the embassy.

Trump is a slave of the establishment. A puppet of the deep state.

That just further proves it.

The watch had something to do with it but it was recording, not transmitting, only verified when there were attempts to youtube it , which caused a total global youtube clampdown for four hours plus plus .... that's what I heard ... but that's all there is with nothing more that can be confirmed, nobody is saying anything more or has anything more to add as it stands

Or at least a servant to the Saudi's.  Some presidents bow, others prove their loyalty with actions.
