Terrible Lizards. Ancient Dinosaur Animation.

Volcanos abound in the grassy reconstruction of the Mesozoic. The Dinosaurs, as realistically rendered as a pair of Marigolds with faces painted on them, get progressively more wonky as the film progresses, until the climactic, but half hearted, fight between a Tricerotops, and Tryannosaur, which plays out dramatically against the backdrop of an erupting volcano. But in fairness, as the end suggests, it was obviously made before the asteroid arrived.

I wouldn't call it ancient, the time stamp MCMLXXXVI is 1986.
