I'm sure she was taken to the hospital and her injuries documented. For it to be classified a felony, it had to meet criteria, including being the result of assault and battery. TMZ erroneously reported her as his wife, something Avenatti intends to take legal action for. I hope folks just let the process play out. I did find this bit confusing. How can you force someone to pay bail if theyre not charged? I've been ordered to not leave the state twice due to legal actions and never forced to pay bail. The second link I posted from heavy says police referred the case to the District Attorney's office. Maybe they put on some kind of a charge. They weren't the source of the arrest reports. Avenatti, of course, is strongly denying this. Stormy Daniels has said she will fire him if these charges are shown to be true. It wasn't.
