Anyone smart enough to go to all this trouble and planning to make a real attack would know that it's futile and doomed to failure. These people are surrounded by layers of security- walls, surveillance devices, staff, and in some cases the Secret Service. They're not likely to pick up their own mail on the way home. This was for appearances only. If I'm wrong I'm certainly not alone. The comments on several facebook pages were running 99 to 1 with the same opinion, and the 1 was something snarky about the targets. Yeah, I'm not sure on how the detonator is rigged. One would usually put it in a hard box and rig it to go when the box was opened.
