Nessie is immortal

Sir Wearer of Hats

Right, some animals are immortal only dying because of predators, right? Some jelly fish and reptiles.

well, what if Dinosaurs were like that? They only died because of predation and asteroids smashing into the Earth.

one such Dinosaur however survived, and being immortal just hung out in Loch Ness for millions of years.

Not reptiles. Some just live to be very old.

Yeah but it has not. Am sure it would have been spotted by now by at least one of the professional research teams.which has scoured the loch.

Dodgy photography and floating logs do not count.

One earnestly hopes no public funds were allocated to these escapades.

Tullymonstrum, Pennsylvanian marine worm-like creature.   Fossils are only a foot long or so, but hey they could have been larvae.  Maybe we haven't found a trace of a parent. Check out tales of "knights" fighting dragons in old  Angleland, they are a lot more like worms than dragons.  And in the descriptions, not all that big 10' or less.

But sure, could be a hyrax I guess, or a lorax for that matter.

Nessie lives as long as our imagination does.
