Black Monk Posted November 10, 2018 #1 Share Posted November 10, 2018 (edited) A Victorian street has been rediscovered by unsuspecting builders after being demolished during the Second World War. Property developers in the Cornish town of Penzance uncovered the hidden road, known as Camberwell Street. The site is also home to a fire place, oven doors, floor tiles, patterned lino and a range of other artefacts. Floor plans of entire properties can be seen for the first time since their demolition around 75 years ago. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-6354217/A-Victorian-street-demolished-Second-World-War-unearthed-Cornwall.html Edited November 10, 2018 by Black Monk
