Nuns embezzle ~$500,000, go gambling

Two longtime nuns at St. James Catholic School in Torrance allegedly embezzled as much as $500,000 in tuition, fees and donations, perhaps spending some of the money on trips and gambling at casinos while telling parents the school was operating on a shoestring budget, officials and parents said.

The figure represents only what auditors have been able to trace in six years’ of bank records and might not include other cash transactions, officials from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles told parents and alumni at a meeting Monday night at St. James Catholic Church in Redondo Beach. An audio recording of the two-hour meeting was obtained by the Southern California News Group.

How can criminal charges not be brought against them, it was not their money and was not given to the church to be squandered.

By sounds of it, the church should be charged, strange how their "standard" audit noticed nothing before, only when a family asked did it come to light?? And that light had nothing to do with god or heaven, it was pure and utter human greed and theft.

Same old story, the church have been covering up their dirty deeds, did they think god would protect them? 

Well now it has come out,  it is not for their "god" to judge this, it should be decided in a court room by a human judge.

Send the whole lot of them to court, no way did no one else know about this.
