It looks like there are a few types of graininess/noise in the image, the camera is susceptible to high energy particles and there are also compression artefacts showing. It's impressive nonetheless.       B)

Im curious... how could the probe withstand the temperatures? Do we have material that can withstand that? It must be in excess of a million degrees and hotter the closest it gets.

Yes NASA do know and have explained them

Note the photos are from a probe, what could you possibly have to better what NASA have done?

Pretty amazing photo and to think the probe is going to get allot closer to the sun in the course of its mission hopefully allot more photos to come.
