You know like if nothing was attracting their attention then they would just basically act like water & just flow down hill or be stagnant?

I mean it would make the hordes predictable & they would all eventually congregate into one mega horde.

It's kinda hard to predict the actions of something that is fictional.

You might aswell ask what if dragons only flew downwards.

Well it's so easy to predict the outcome of dragons flying downward even a child could figure that one out.

You gotta think population density & elevation & junk. Where they all gonna wind up?

There are no zombies,  are you trying to make a story for a film  and are looking for ideas on here?

They would rot.

Within 25 hours of dying, assuming no refrigeration, a corpse would not be capable of biting you.

Zombies walk in circles, but not necessarily downhill. Watch any Zombie film and you will see the same made-up extras over 'n' over again.

  •  The grand old Duke of York
  • He had 10,000 zombies
  • He marched them up to the top of the hill,
  • Then they all walked down again.
  • And when they where up, they where up
  • And when they where down they where down.
  • And when they where only halfway up,
  • Their heads suddenly fell off !

If we were discussing plague "zombies" then they'd die of starvation and dehydration. It really depends on the type.

I would take longer than 25 hours for a zombie to become immobile wouldn't it?

The time would vary depending on the climate but 25 hours seems pretty fast in any environment.

If they're plague "zombies" then it's mostly likely that all higher cognitive function is gone. They are for the most part nothing more than motorized instinct. Think of the Rage Virus.

Nope. I deal with bodies every night. In fact, after about 4 5 hours, there'd be s period where a zombie couldn't even move for upwards of 12 hours because they'd be in rigor.

How long you reckon it would take before their eyes would only be able to perceive shadows cast across them?

What if a person were bitten by a zombie, a werewolf, and a vampire all at once.

I think I just came up with the next teenage goth horror romance series....
