Unusual Tournament

Trust me, IN1, outside of Marshall Law declaration, if Trump did not support the Constitution, I would not support Trump.  I'm consistent.  When liberals want to do a gun grab - which is unconstitutional, I don't support them and in fact, go dead against them. Same type of issue.

Show me 1 time liberal have done a "gun grab".

Many libs WANT it. that is the issue.  And socialists all over the world have done this, the latest being Venezuela. But you had Nazi/Socialist Germany, USSR, Cuba, and many others do the same thing.

It's a control issue. Socialists know that if they really want to do the things to the masses that they want to do, they better take the guns away first.

I wonder how many of these rugged, bootstrappy, frontier types are collecting a pension, gov't disability, workers compensation, or other socialist programs that are ruining the union? No? Good thing, because you can bet your bottom dollar that Trump would pillage them if he could. A lot of people think he may try. I dont think he would, but you never know with the unpredictable one.

You'd be surprised how many idiots I've talked to who're on the Affordable Care Act while railing against Obamacare. Completely unaware that they're the same damn thing.

Socialism and Liberalism aren't interchangeable.

Indeed, if you go back to the origin of left/right, Trump would be sitting with the supporters of the revolution. Trump is anything but conservative. His promise to drain the swamp is straight out of Chavez's playbook.

The question was about liberals and guns. California is often given as the worst case scenario. So how was the Mulford Act passed?

Well...Trump flinches again!...

Reps yesterday wanted to sign the Dems "agreement"...

Republicans have no spine!...time to disband the party as a whole and change the name to "Democrat light"

Huh? Pushing out another shutdown three weeks? Let's see if Dems statements that they will now make a deal are true, or just more of their childish lies?

My expectation is they have been saying this, but they'll have to change their position because of "leadership".

Shutting down the government is a disservice to the country.  That should never be a card to play by either side.

Childish lies?  I think you got the wrong  culprit for that one.   The Democrats say they are willing to negotiate, it does not mean a deal will be reached any time soon.  Now that the power positions have been sorted out, maybe the President will make a real offer. It will be an interesting debate.  C-Span better cover it.

So far Die Checker, I haven't heard any whining from Nancy.  If positions were reversed, President Trump would have gloated as he frequently does. She was actually pretty mellow in her remarks today, she could have shoved President Trump's face in it, for caving in, but she didn't.    That honor was saved for Ann Coulter.
