Here are a few more things from the UB that although written in the early Twentieth century are highly relevant in today's world which defines its intent to the utilization of truth:

* Dross deleted.

This little exercise does become quite tiresome. Robotically quoting a fabrication rather than engaging and utilizing your own reasoning and critical thinking skills does indeed suggest a cult-like mentality. The supplied material is little more than trite pablum, distinctly lacking in depth in regards to the philosophical debates surrounding the concept of "truth".

Given your apparent lack of actual intellectual engagement, how would you describe the sentiments of your higher power in respect to your misuse of your given capabilities?

He never answered or defended my corrections on the early 20th Century "white man's burden" false anthropology that is rife in this American UFO cult car crash and the fact that it uses "Red Man" and "Red Race" throughout which is a term ONLY used by the uneducated in the early centuries. ( Thomas Jefferson even said we were Asian)

He's self brainwashed boss. Sad because it stems from mental abuse as a child. There is no debating with him. This is the "brace" for his broken mind.

@Piney

Hun, he NEVER answers, because he cannot support the dren in his holy book.

Similar to Christians who cite the bible as proof of the bible, he can ONLY look to the UB to substantiate the UB.

Not once has he ever directly answered to any question put to him. But instead merely deflects, obfuscates and attempts to sound deep, mysterious, and insightful.

He fails on all counts.

 quoting a fabrication

This thread is about the UB. Whether or not the things written in it were "made up" as Davros stated in the OP.

Try harder to concentrate on evaluating what the UB says without focusing on me if you will please.

Of the things that I quoted from the Urantia Book the last time, what specifically is not true?

The rest of you can jump in there too. Just be specific.

@Piney has done exactly that Will. He has shown and evaluated many lies in the UB. I've asked you before to substantiate the lie about the island of stability, the so called centre of the universe that you told me astronomers can see as a fuzzy patch. Dan has discussed and pointed out astronomical errors.

Many have focused on the inaccuracies and lies in the UB. You ALWAYS ignore those corrections and ramble on regardless claiming lies are true, or just ignoring them for a certain amount of time  then you repeat them.

When you are too gutless to face the direct fabrications printed, yet defend the UB as accurate, what recourse does on have other than to take the query directly to you, as the defender of the lies and errors in the UB? Your making claims of the UB that you clearly cannot support.

I showed you what wasn't true in the links you provided me. I showed you the falsities about Shintoism. I'm more than certain a real creator would know actual facts about his creations. Not the bull**** Edgar Cayce, C.W. Leadbeater and Joseph Smith made up and you never defended it.

Thank you all for continuing to bring attention to the Urantia Book. Where the living good news is presented about the fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of men who, through faith and by love, have become the sons of God. A new concept of truth.

Yep, a book of lies, IN DETAIL, that rationalizes an excuse for those lies and of which you’ve bought hook, line and sinker. Just because you prefer to be lied to doesn’t mean the rest of us do.

Do you think your evasion goes unnoticed?

Nobody thinks its good news. Nobody thinks it accurate. See the poll up there? Yours is the one supporting vote. It's a good indicator of how well the UB and your preaching of it has been received.

Again you deliberately ignore facts for your lala land utopia in your head. And the more you promote the UB, the more people will laugh at it. It's utter nonsense and the only promotion of that rag is not positive. You sure live in your own little world there. It's proven to be horrendously inaccurate and the effect it has had on you appears damaging. There's nothing attractive about the UB at all.

Jesus, if he existed, could well have been another BS artist as the UB authors are, taking advantage of ignorance to spread stupid rehashed old religious themes.

Hi Will

Your welcome, but it may not bear the fruit that you may hope for as we are in the early stages of dissection and what this discussion would really benefit from would be a champion of the UB and the skills to defend it to an objective audience in testable terms. When you look at some of the dialogue exchanged between knowledgeable members here and how they present their positions with credible independent sources that lead the reader to do some independent research to further one's own understanding.

But I guess that if after all is said and done you could say(to yourself or us) if 1 out of billions came to accept this as a path because of this discussion that would be one for the good guys.

Well, just to keep moving ahead I have 2 links about races and colored people, the second link has some moderately modern 1996 arguments as to how we show perceive what they are saying in the earlier publication.

The rest of you can jump in there too. Just be specific.

Presuming that you are referring to your contribution #121, there are, for the most part, no “truths” involved. What you presented was merely a distinctly biased series of opinions and distorted “interpretations” designed to support your fabricated belief system. Propaganda and proselytization. There are, of course, the usual factual inaccuracies. For example:

During the first third of the twentieth century Urantians killed more human beings than were killed during the whole of the Christian dispensation up to that time (Will Due # 121).

If you choose to run the math available in the following references, you will find this statement to be quite inaccurate:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_wars_by_death_toll

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_wars_and_anthropogenic_disasters_by_death_toll

Furthermore, despite the dire predictions of your “source”, the death toll from conflict is actually in decline.

https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/globally-deaths-war-and-murder-are-decline-180950237/

And why have you not addressed the previously presented question? How does your higher power evaluate your apparent inability to utilize your divinely granted capabilities?

More proselytizing. Please do take the time to research the philosophical debates regarding the concept of "truth". It may aid you in avoiding further embarrassment.

64:4.1 (720.7) The Neanderthalers were excellent fighters, and they traveled extensively. They gradually spread from the highland centers in northwest India to France on the west, China on the east, and even down into northern Africa. They dominated the world for almost half a million years until the times of the migration of the evolutionary races of color.

Neanderthals were never in Africa nor China.

Quote

64:4.7 (721.5) Mammalian life had been little changed by the great glacier. These animals persisted in that narrow belt of land lying between the ice and the Alps and, upon the retreat of the glacier, again rapidly spread out over all Europe. There arrived from Africa, over the Sicilian land bridge, straight-tusked elephants, broad-nosed rhinoceroses, hyenas, and African lions, and these new animals virtually exterminated the saber-toothed tigers and the hippopotamuses.

Smilodons (Saber Tooth Tigers) were only endemic to North America.

Quote

64:4.13 (722.1) These early Neanderthalers could hardly be called sun worshipers. They rather lived in fear of the dark; they had a mortal dread of nightfall. As long as the moon shone a little, they managed to get along, but in the dark of the moon they grew panicky and began the sacrifice of their best specimens of manhood and womanhood in an effort to induce the moon again to shine. The sun, they early learned, would regularly return, but the moon they conjectured only returned because they sacrificed their fellow tribesmen. As the race advanced, the object and purpose of sacrifice progressively changed, but the offering of human sacrifice as a part of religious ceremonial long persisted.

Neanderthals never practiced Human sacrifice although they might of practiced cannibalism during times of starvation.

Quote

64:6.3 (723.2) 1. The red man. These peoples were remarkable specimens of the human race, in many ways superior to Andon and Fonta. They were a most intelligent group and were the first of the Sangik children to develop a tribal civilization and government. They were always monogamous; even their mixed descendants seldom practiced plural mating.

64:6.4 (723.3) In later times they had serious and prolonged trouble with their yellow brethren in Asia. They were aided by their early invention of the bow and arrow, but they had unfortunately inherited much of the tendency of their ancestors to fight among themselves, and this so weakened them that the yellow tribes were able to drive them off the Asiatic continent.

There is just so much wrong with this any layman can figure it out.

Quote

64:6.5 (723.4) About eighty-five thousand years ago the comparatively pure remnants of the red race went en masse across to North America, and shortly thereafter the Bering land isthmus sank, thus isolating them. No red man ever returned to Asia. But throughout Siberia, China, central Asia, India, and Europe they left behind much of their stock blended with the other colored races.

3 migrations, About 25-to 35,000 years ago possibly following a Coastal route, about 15,000 years ago via land bridge. ( they still didn't have the bow and arrow yet. See above) and then about 3,000 years ago by boat across the former land bridge. The last migration did bring the bow and arrow.

Quote

64:6.7 (723.6) Because of this great retrogression the red men seemed doomed when, about sixty-five thousand years ago, Onamonalonton appeared as their leader and spiritual deliverer. He brought temporary peace among the American red men and revived their worship of the “Great Spirit.” Onamonalonton lived to be ninety-six years of age and maintained his headquarters among the great redwood trees of California. Many of his later descendants have come down to modern times among the Blackfoot Indians.

WTF??

The Blackfeet were still part of the Proto-Algic (Algonquian-Yurok) people about 5,000 years ago on the Columbia Plateau.

Quote

64:6.9 (723.8) After crossing over to America from China, the northern red man never again came in contact with other world influences (except the Eskimo) until he was later discovered by the white man. It was most unfortunate that the red man almost completely missed his opportunity of being upstepped by the admixture of the later Adamic stock. As it was, the red man could not rule the white man, and he would not willingly serve him. In such a circumstance, if the two races do not blend, one or the other is doomed.

This is racist as ****!  O.K. I'm done for a while..............

Quote

64:6.14 (724.4) 3. The yellow man. The primitive yellow tribes were the first to abandon the chase, establish settled communities, and develop a home life based on agriculture. Intellectually they were somewhat inferior to the red man, but socially and collectively they proved themselves superior to all of the Sangik peoples in the matter of fostering racial civilization. Because they developed a fraternal spirit, the various tribes learning to live together in relative peace, they were able to drive the red race before them as they gradually expanded into Asia.
