It doesn't matter.

In the future more things will be scientifically discovered and established than now.

You're not denying this are you?

So it’s ok to knowingly promote lies?

Language isn't absolute. I can't explain a thought I'm having in words to anybody exactly. Can you?

I can. I speak 6 languages and I think in 3.

69:3.6 (774.5) Smiths were the first nonreligious group to enjoy special privileges. They were regarded as neutrals during war, and this extra leisure led to their becoming, as a class, the politicians of primitive society. But through gross abuse of these privileges the smiths became universally hated, and the medicine men lost no time in fostering hatred for their competitors. In this first contest between science and religion, religion (superstition) won. After being driven out of the villages, the smiths maintained the first inns, public lodginghouses, on the outskirts of the settlements.

This was completely made up.

Metalworkers were considered a sacred (religious) class and also served as healers in Eurasian societies. ( Indo-European, Indo-Iranian and Turko-Mongolian) . In Europe the smith was part of the Druidic class, which also included healers and scribes.

69:8.6 (779.5) Slavery was an indispensable link in the chain of human civilization. It was the bridge over which society passed from chaos and indolence to order and civilized activities; it compelled backward and lazy peoples to work and thus provide wealth and leisure for the social advancement of their superiors.

Yep, excusing the horrible treatment of others because that always works so well.

Will Due should be ashamed for promoting such a book but apparently he has no conscience nor self-respect.

Piney, you've done this several times now.

Apparently you're not aware that you're supporting that what the UB says is true by making statements like the one above.

By doing so, you're confirming it.

It is true. Sometimes in order for something to be born, another thing must die.

How so?  I think I said the opposite. There was no "battle or contest" between smiths and shaman in any culture.

Not everyone wants to be as embarrassing as you are lately with your promotion of the UB.

Are you ever going to stop promoting lies, because as you’ve already admitted about the UB you WANT to believe it’s true?

Do you always have to misrepresent?

The Urantia Book is not God.

I said that I decided to want to believe God. That happened long before I ever heard of the UB.

I believe you but you said "in any culture."

Have you studied every culture that ever existed? You said "any."

I did.

Something like that would cause a culture to implode.

Show me a culture where there was dissension between smiths and priests. Since they were both the same class in all cultures.

Hey @Piney

Since you've been reading the Urantia Book, have you come across what it says about Atlantis yet?

You've studied them "all?"

How have you done this? With every culture? All?

What about those cultures that don't exist anymore. Those that no one knows anything about because it is lost to history.

How did you come to know about them?

You said "any."

You said "all."
