There are parts where it's at level 4 - do not travel. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/traveladvisories/traveladvisories/mexico-travel-advisory.html

Big Jim Posted January 10, 2019 #8 Share Posted January 10, 2019 Anybody who can't figure this out on their own probably won't listen to the government either. It's kind of like the weatherman telling you to wear a coat when it's cold or stay off the roads when they're icy.

aztek Posted January 10, 2019 #13 Share Posted January 10, 2019 i'm sure there are tunnels, but those are not tunnels for use by average jose, cartels own those, use them to traffic drugs, sex slaves and soldiers. hundreds of thousand stil walk across border. cartels wont allow them to use their tunnels. not to mention we just have not been looking for them hard enough, if anything we need to bring IDF consultants to deal with tunnels, they are experts, pal tunnels keep collapsing for some reason,

Biggest problem is Mexico, like law enforcement in U.S. cities, let the gang situation get out of hand in the first place.

The American people have no idea how many kids are sold every year by sex traffickers. As far as the drugs, it sounds like Narcan is going to be another drug in the hands of people who don't train on how to use it. It's not something that the addict being injected is just going to get up and walk away from. It will only work if the person is hospitalized after injection. Quickly. Likely Guy Posted January 11, 2019 #21 Share Posted January 11, 2019 Mexico is a big country with a lot of safe places to visit, just like the U.S. As a Canadian I'd rather not go to China or Saudi Arabia right now.

Yeah, and a lot of dangerous places too. Notwithstanding, I think your instincts about China and Saudi are good ones !

If your First Nations, China is still OK. They don't see us as part of the US or Canada. They see us as "captive nations". Oh, the irony.
