Argh....that's just one silly man, and he probably just said that to get attention

And I agree with @tcgram true love, including true romantic love has little to do with physical features, in my experience.

The article does point out that Monsieur Moix is known to make controversial statements on purpose, so yeah, just an attempt to make himself seem more unique and interesting than he likely is.

You will have to ask Yann Moix. He seems to think so.

No offense to anyone who may like him, but this guy is a moron. Not for what he's saying here, that's just his personal little issue with middle-aged women, but the stuff he's said on TV over the years...

Anyways I clicked on this thread because I thought the title meant "women over 50 don't fall in love anymore" which maybe would've made sense as a general statement, as in not all but most. By that time they've had probably a few partners in their lives, and be jaded by the opposite sex and abandon all ideals of true love/prince charming etc.

Who cares what his ****ty opinions are? Why is this news?

It's a slow day in Politics and I think the people with all the fake outrage are tired out from a long week of bashing everyone who doesn't think exactly like they do. ;)

Thanks for the Link tcgram. :tu:

I guess I should have worded the thread a bit better, sorry about that.

Man in a mid-life crisis?

Probably no self respecting woman, over or under 50, would give this moron the time of day. Ever notice the ones least likely to attract ANY woman are the ones who profess to be "picky"?

I personally believe this man has never experienced true love, which is not bound by size, color, gender or age.

He's is talking strictly about "true" lust.  This is a terrible problem faced by what is sometimes called the "ageing Lothario", who whilst he still has a measure of libido, finds he needs younger and more attractive women to satisfy it. The only cures appears to be, to have extensive wealth, or the onset of male menopause. Such are the woes of operating at the gross level of the senses. Whilst a lot of  lust-driven men claim to have a great appreciation of women, subtract the "legs in the air" part of their interactions with them, and they do find them rather less interesting !

I'd prefer a guy aged about 34.

Oh, look there's my bf who happens to be 34.

I guess you can be a dick about preferences or just live your life... x

It's all your fault.

I hope you feel ashamed.
