Dudley Castle monk ghost spotted

Eldorado

Recommended Posts

A couple believe they photographed a ghost during a visit to a haunted castle.

Helen Wakeman, 43, and John Dargan, 33, were flicking back through pictures from their trip to Dudley Castle, West Mids, when they spotted something strange in the background of one of the snaps.

The figure, which they believe is the ghost of a former monk, is standing just metres behind them.

I don't see anything except a small shadow in a very dark picture.

That's the weakest attempt at a ghost picture I've seen in ages... I mean it's a little black blotch! At night! In a dark place!

Of course it is, it's named after Harry Potter's horrible cousin!

Pareidolia is certainly a possibility as for it being a regular object. I do believe that places with much longer human history are indeed more likely to have paranormal phenomena to this day and apparently this place is rife with claims.

There's been a Castle there since 1070. That's a lot of potential skeletons in the closet!
