Jiangshi, Which is a Chinese Zombie, That is made from Taoist charm, oriental talisman, has some shared features of vampire. Like ghoul, first made jiangshi has low intelligence. After that, When jiangshi survived long time and obtain 'qi' for long time. It evolves to Vampiric 'jiangshi' and gets inteligence. vampiric jiangshi sucks blood of victim. That’s interesting, and thank you for sharing that with us. They do sound pretty similar to western vampires. In some of the mythos vampires won’t become their fullest self until they feed on the their first victim, they are granted some of the powers like speed, strength and enhanced perception while still being able to walk in sunlight.
