A federal grand jury in Virginia accused Indivior of a "truly shameful scheme to put profits over the health and well-being of patients". It alleged the firm conducted an illicit scheme to increase sales of Suboxone Film, an opioid drug used to treat opioid addiction. Indivior has issued an eight page rebuttal contesting the charges." Raptor Witness Posted April 21, 2019 #28 Share Posted April 21, 2019 This is just the tip of a much larger iceberg, still hidden beneath the waves. The Hippocratic Oath has been violated to such a degree, that we can only imagine the extent of the damage. Legalized drug dealing, with poor people locked up in jail, for essentially the same exact crime, only one is licensed to steal. Blasting the entire nervous system with the strongest opioid available, is insane in most cases. What I would like to know is how many physicians actually tried weaker opioids first, just to see if the patient improved with that. That would be where I would draw the line for criminal versus honest behavior.

Except for those who actually died as a result of this, it's patients with chronic, severe pain that have suffered and continue to suffer the worst. They are now suspected of being addicts for no crime other than being in legitimate pain. Some are resorting to suicide because they no longer can get relief anywhere. Those who caused this train wreck need to be held accountable in a way that lets future criminals know it isn't worth the candle...
Raptor Witness Posted May 28, 2019 #31 Share Posted May 28, 2019 I’ve always found it remarkable that the bulk of the illegal natural opioids sold in United States come from Afghanistan, which is under the military control of United States. More people have died from the heroin coming from Afghanistan by thousands of times, than died in all the terrorist incidents emanating from Afghanistan. The dead have a voice beyond the grave, and they have a vote.

Raptor Witness Posted September 11, 2019 #39 Share Posted September 11, 2019 As a relative of one of the victims, of the crime of “Doctor Death,” there is no civil penalty high enough in my book. The states who allowed this crime to occur under their noses, will now take all the money, and leave the victims and their families to fend for themselves. Who will make the state pay for their crime against humanity?
