Still Waters Posted February 6, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 6, 2019 A giant cross washed ashore near a Fort Lauderdale Beach hotel over the weekend, spawning curiosity among beachgoers and employees as to how it arrived in South Florida. The curious sight caused confusion and disbelief after it was first spotted on the beach behind the Ocean Manor Beach Resort Hotel, Saturday evening. “We just found this washed up on the beach,” said a man as he recorded cellphone video of the massive find. https://wsvn.com/news/local/giant-cross-washes-ashore-near-fort-lauderdale-beach-hotel/

Could it be a cross from one of the islands that was hit by Mary (or whatever that hurricane was called)? Cora Calliope Posted February 9, 2019 #7 Share Posted February 9, 2019 The cross is probably just a prop from a Christian theme park, but the hardcore Christians are going gaga over it.

Myles Posted February 11, 2019 #12 Share Posted February 11, 2019 It was pretty big and looked like it had been in the water for a long time. I don't find anything spiritual to it, but it is pretty cool.
Jimmy M Posted April 17, 2019 #13 Share Posted April 17, 2019 That was really cool! I didn't think that there is a giant cross like that. Must see this thing in the shore of Fort Lauderdale. visit.me
Myles Posted April 18, 2019 #14 Share Posted April 18, 2019 I drive by this one a couple times a year on my way to St. Louis. It's off highway 70 about midway between Indy and St. Louis.
