That is one hell of a Muslim appologist article.

One of the take aways for me was that it says Trump said that Muslims hate us, to which it accuses Trump of inciting hate, but DOES NOT address if Muslims do actually hate us in the West. So....

Politically, we've seen a shift to hate Christianity but defend and promote Islam. Why? Which side votes for whom?

As for me, when I am told Islam is a religion of peace, tolerance and inclusion, I don't expect peaceful, tolerant and inclusive people to tell folks in their camp to raise hell. Fred Phelps and WBC caused people to stigmatize Christians, at no time did we advocate raising hell because of that stigma. Nor did we when zealots bombed abortion clinics and all Christians were looked upon with scorn. We stood with the victims in those situations at anti-Phelps rallies, we stood by victims praying for justice for the perpetrators who bastardized our religion. The bakers and florists weren't simply looked at funny in our streets, they were denigrated in our media and our government fined them out of business. And still no claim to raise hell. Imagine if Ted Cruz had called for Christians to raise hell with every attempt to squash Christianity. How would that be covered by our media, how would that be commented on here?

Donald Trump Jr.: Ilhan Omar's Attack on Stephen Miller Further Reveals Her Antisemitism

DONALD TRUMP JR.

 12 Apr 2019

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/04/12/exclusive-donald-trump-jr-ilhan-omars-attack-on-stephen-miller-further-reveals-her-shameless-antisemitism/amp/?__twitter_impression=true

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) clearly hasn’t learned from her past mistakes, because she hasn’t stopped spewing disgraceful and untrue rhetoric just yet.

The congresswoman recently made what might just be her most vile comments yet. At a fundraiser for the Council on American Islamic Relations, she reduced the 9/11 terror attacks that killed nearly 3,000 Americans to “some people did something.”

I have news for the freshman congresswoman from Minnesota: when 3,000 Americans are murdered by radical Islamic terrorists, it’s not “some people did something,” it’s an act of war.

Omar’s minimization of that despicable attack on our country is an insult to all Americans, especially those who lost loved ones on 9/11, and offers a disturbing insight into what Omar really thinks of her adopted homeland. That such remarks came from a sitting member of the United States Congress is particularly disgraceful.

Sadly, instead of condemning her vile comments, Democrats in Congress and in the media have remained largely silent about her comments, but that’s become par for the course for a Democrat Party that now counts Omar as part of the mainstream.

And now, on top of all that, and only weeks after “unequivocally” apologizing for her antisemitic tropes, Rep. Omar has set her sights on a Jewish White House adviser.

“Stephen Miller is a white nationalist,” Omar tweeted. “The fact that he still has influence on policy and political appointments is an outrage.”

Are my sister Ivanka Trump and my brother-in-law Jared Kushner, who are both Orthodox Jews, part of the neo-Nazi conspiracy, too? Is Ben Carson working for the KKK?

Nothing that Miller has ever said or done qualifies him as a white nationalist — and Omar knows it.

Isn't the hatred and bigotry of the 21st century so much more interesting than that of the 20th?  :tu:

These people today want so badly the fame and glory of the real civil rights leaders of 60 years ago that they just go around making shlt up and painting a picture of the entire country today as it may have looked in some areas a 100 years ago. I know a lot of people still fall for it but I think it's less than it was 10 years ago. Their claims and accusations and many hoaxes have been enough for anybody with 2 reasoning brain cells to see through.

If these people want to be seen as civil rights leaders the first two things they should do is quit being racists and then be Republicans. They're right where they belong though. The hatred in their veins is engrained in the party they represent.

I bet money that woman hates this country and all it stands for. I don't even question her patriotism because not a shred of it exists.

I've known and worked with a few folks from Minnesota.  It's my sincere hope that the state overall isn't truly represented by this choice.  Her district has to be almost exclusively Somali immigrants with a smattering of young, uninformed adults.  I've been surprised that she has been so bold in her actions since she just arrived in Congress but that seems to be the way with this younger, entitled generation.  She would find her welcome to be very muted in my part of the world.

Her replacement, whoever replaced her former seat I mean, is another Somali and he gave his inauguration/victory speech whatever in Somali to a crowd of Somalians.

I could rant with all that's wrong there but I'm sure we're on the same page.

and then,, you may remember back in the day -  Governors - Lester Maddox (D) Georgia,  George Wallace (D) Alabama,   Ross Barnett (Dixocrat) Mississippi. And when that stuff went away you figure you'll never see it again, right? We are enlightened :)

Here we are 50 years later. Same old Democrats, same old racist minds.

No no no, you see that her religion says she’s allowed to hate Jews, but as Christians we need to love her.

Sure he is but he doesnt want "socialism for the people". He wants to incorporate some common sense practices into our capitalist system. Theres a massive gulf between that and wanting "socialism" thats pretty easy to see with just a little effort.

of course she is, you can't be a pro gun democratic politician in CA these days, you'll be on aoc list lol

Common-sense gun safety reforms is a liberal term for gun restrictions, confiscation,

we really need to make a a dictionary of liberal soundbites vs reality.  or we can assume everything they say has an opposite meaning, and we be right 99% of the time
