Trump team tried to sell Nuclear Plants to SA

Key members of the Trump administration pushed a plan to sell nuclear power plants to Saudi Arabia in the months after the inauguration despite objections from members of the National Security Council and other senior White House officials, according to a new report from congressional Democrats.

The possible sale of nuclear power plants to Saudi Arabia was discussed in the Oval Office just last week. The meeting included Energy Secretary Rick Perry, representatives from the NSC and State Department, and a dozen nuclear industry chief executives, one of the people present told The Washington Post.

“Multiple whistleblowers came forward to warn about efforts inside the White House to rush the transfer of highly sensitive U.S. nuclear technology to Saudi Arabia in potential violation” of federal law, the Oversight Committee report says.

Meh. US law requires that Congress approve any technology-transfer deal.

The article states that the "Trump Administration" pushed these plans in the early days, just after the inauguration. Well then.. what became of them ?

No worries...Trump is fine.

This is just a smoke screen put out there because the Uranium 1 "deal" (and other stuff) is about to blow open.

They want to be able to say "but, but...Trump tried to sell nuclear tech too!"

It won't work...the U1 conspirators are toast.

I am not sure what U1 conspirators have to do with this.  If it is a smokescreen put up by Trump adversaries, then maybe.   If it is real, then we will see I suppose why it was proposed: for Flynn's personal gain or for the security of the nation.

Maybe we want SA to balance Iran.  I wonder what SA wants.

Someday their oil will run out, maybe they are planning for that future.  A nuclear power plant uses a heck of a lot of cooling water.  When you have an empty desert and a lot of sunshine, it would seem solar would be easier to get going.

I keep thinking that 15 of the 19  9/11 terrorists were citizens of Saudi Arabia.  I don't know how much has changed.  If the same companies build the plants with the same blueprints they used for American plants, operators, and hence anybody they want to tell will know critical weak points of plants in both countries.

Apart from that, technology has been our strong suit.  If we share it with someone doing their own research, well and good, we may get something in return.  If we give it away, what do we get back, a short term gain?

It is American technology with cheap labor that is putting the hurt on US manufacturing.  If the president thinks we are being taken advantage of over tennis shoes and  automobiles, where does giving away nuclear technology fit?

But some will say just sit back and relax, the brilliant master has a plan and everything is under control.

Well, as is well known, the US cooperates with Saudi in all its military endeavours (endeavours being the right word, considering how bogged down they got in Yemen), and if they're happy to share military and intelligence technology, what should be the problem? Surely no Senior Figures in Washington might feel that the Saudis might not be entirely trustworthy, do they? :(

Not sure it's about to blow open.  After 3 years investigation they found nothing on Clinton.

The fact it didn't happen doesn't mean their conduct is acceptable.

Especially if the Saudi's started enriching uranium after the US provided the technology.

Their B00K says that an earthquake is coming, which will level every wall on earth. and they want a Wall to keep in another core?

That rock far from beyond orbit has already been moved into position. All the cores could be exposed, in 48 hours.

And they marvel at a New Earth, yet wonder not, the need for it?

First “Trump” is a name in history, given as a bad joke to mark the beginning of something.

And when they saw Death, they rejoiced, embracing him.

What's also interesting is that several of Trump's cronies are involved with companies that directly profit from this sale and they were dropping the restrictions on technology that could be used to create nukes.  Saudi Araba also refuses to create sign the 123 deal and these same fellows are still pushing for it to go through.

We have Westinghouse Electric- Subsidiary of Brookfield Asset Management which provided financial relief for the Kushners and IP3 which Flynn listed himself as an advisor to on ethics filings for example as two of the major companies/players. https://www.politico.com/story/2019/02/19/michael-flynn-saudi-arabia-1174531

The amusing thing is that Israel has declared a "red" line on the deal:  https://www.axios.com/israel-united-states-red-lines-demands-saudi-arabia-nuclear-deal-d010de3e-69ad-4de1-bc5e-0387dd5b91dc.html

and Saudi is already crossing that line if they enriching Uranium.

I see a nuclear weapon armed Saudi Arabia in the future.  I'm just hoping that the next Saudi born terrorists (like Al Qaeda) pick some other country to detonate one in rather than the US.

Nuclear power stations are a 'fact on the ground' in the middle east. Iran took its power station critical back in 2011. The United Arab Emirates is well on its way to producing its own facility. (and is doing so in a remarkably transparent way). If the USA doesn't sell the equipment to the Saudi's ,then the French and the Russians will.

The question is not about the power stations, but about the fuel.

Regardless of what the USA does SA will pursue nuclear weapons if Iran has them. They have stated this many times.  Just one more reason to do everything possible to keep them out of Iranian hands.

Some truth will be dropped like bombs in Baghdad soon (2020). You and I and others paying attention will see it happen but anyone who relies on the MSM to stay informed will likely miss all the big, juicy revelations.

Yes they have. If they are going to pursuer that goal. make them do it on their own without our aid.  If there are sanctions that go with the non-proliferation treaty, let them be imposed.  If they build centrifuges, let the Israelis decide if they trust a nuclear power at their doorstep.

True about Iran, but the focus should be on preventing Iran from achieving nuclear capability, not on what Saudi Arabia will do as a consequence.

We don't have very good long-term luck with arming the enemies of our enemies..

These right wing conservative’s, who claim they believe in their Holy Bible, are forgetting the basic teaching in said Book. of a worldwide earthquake, which will occur at some point in the future.

The strong suspicion is that this will be caused by a collision between something shaking in heaven, and then shaking the earth.

Odds are, an earthquake of that type could in fact shake the entire earth and could actually knock every wall to the ground if it was big enough.

There won’t be time to pull those rods out of these cores if and when this happens, and even if they managed to do it, you would still be looking at no water to cool anything.

So the very idea of building more reactor cores seems suicidal, unless you’re a non-Christian.

Almost every year we are finding new impact craters on earth, and the odds of a violent strike on this planet grow every year because of these new findings.

I used to believe safe nuclear technology was possible, but I no longer believe that. I think all the existing plants need to be decommissioned as soon as possible.

These petty arguments over building more plants are tiny, by comparison.

Really?  Comey stood up in front of the nation and listed CRIMES she was guilty of and then said no "reasonable" prosecutor would charge her.  Immediately, dozens of well-respected prosecutors from all over the country said otherwise.  The fact that her crimes have been ignored doesn't mean she didn't commit them.

And your belief tells you that changing the number of nuclear plants is going to prevent the destruction of the major earthquake that is spoken of?

He may be referring to Ezekiel 38: 18-20.  There are verses in the book of Revelation that mention global earthquakes as well, though.  The verses in Ezekiel are specific to the fate of the nations that come against Israel in the last days.  Gog of Magog, Turkey, Iran and several other Muslim nations are going to be shattered, basically.

Almost more important that what Comey said is what Hillary didn't say. She never denied the content of those emails and that's what makes the conspiracy so big. There is some very damning stuff in there. The focus on her bathroom server is a misdirect to keep us from talking about what was actually revealed.

Thanks man. The verses you posted are fairly vague and "earthquake" is just one interpretation. If anything, it's probably talking about these upcoming quakes at a local level. Most of Revelations seems to focus on the near-Israel area.

The context matters, for sure but overall the event spoken to in Ezekiel is something that will be for the whole world to become aware of.  Israel will be delivered, supernaturally from an enemy they cannot fight against alone, and the world will witness it.
