Where's Dennis?

Several questions come to mind based on those two articles.

1.  Why did the roommate not report Dennis missing?  Why did the husband with Dementia have to realize weeks later Dennis was missing?

2.  Who was taking care of Dennis' animals that were left behind?  The roommate?  If so, again, why didn't he report Dennis missing?

3. In both articles, it first states that he left behind his car and went out on foot.  Then, it states that his car was found along the Oregon Coast with two people Dennis did not know inside.  Which is it?  Was the car left behind at his house or was it found on the coast?  How to they know that Dennis did not know these individuals?

Right? I'd like to know what he told police!

It sounds to me like- according to the roommate- he'd left his car at his house.

I guess they told police that they didn't know Dennis.

Edit: Per info from the following article, those individuals are "two strangers who claimed Day had let them borrow it".

That's totally bizarre Regi.  There's so much that does not make sense in this case.

^ I don't think I could be more confused or disappointed by the reporting, the investigation or this Lt. Price.

In the following article, Price said Dennis didn't leave the house or have many friends (and we know there are few family members, none of which knew for the first  six mos. that he was missing), yet- second link- he actually entertains the notion that Dennis is "off with friends or family".

Agree Regi.  I'm not sure if this is a case of shoddy reporting, poor police work or a combination of the two<_<
