Popular Post +joc Posted March 5, 2019 Popular Post #4 Share Posted March 5, 2019 *Grabs 'special owl feather' from Dream Catcher....waves back and forth and brings Piney back from the dead....* I am quite sure that I am not the first or probably the fifth or even hundredth person to point out on this forum the following: 250 millions years ago the Earth's seven continents were all grouped together into a super-continent called Pangea. Just before the days of the dinosaurs the Earth's continents were all connected into one huge landmass called Pangaea . This huge supercontinent was surrounded by one gigantic ocean called Panthalassa. Linky Winky The really, really, super interesting thing about that is the fact that....THERE WERE NO FREAKING HUMANS AROUND... ...ahem...that means...there was no Atlantis... ..thank you very much... *Places noose around neck of thread* ...slowly walks away... 4 3
+DieChecker Posted March 5, 2019 #5 Share Posted March 5, 2019 <Repeatedly hits the "Request Delete " moderator button...> Seriously though this would place Atlantis in the Arctic Ocean. Which might mean what actually happened is it slipped through the polar hole into the Hollow Earth.

bison Posted March 5, 2019 #7 Share Posted March 5, 2019 Personally, I think that anybody who tries to prove the existence of Atlantis, on the basis of modern geology, has a lot of crust! 1 1

Yeah...maybe...except for the fact that.... there were no freaking Neanderthals around back then either Spoiler 1.8 million years ago Both Neanderthals and anatomically modern humans were initially thought to have evolved from Homo erectus between 300,000 and 200,000 years ago. H. erectus had emerged around 1.8 million years ago, and had long been present, in various subspecies throughout Eurasia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neanderthal

It came from a sharp con-man. Seriously. He spent years debunking Spiritualist claims about the turn of the 20th Century, then used all the tricks he learned to found his own religion. He’s like the L. Ron Hubbard for people who don’t like the critical “thinking” necessary for being a Scientologist. —Jaylemurph 1 1

And yes, will humbly submit that no previous "researcher" has yet chosen the Aleutians as the source of Plato's allegory. Location, islands, volcanism. Why, all the elements are present. They are, after all, about the only locale left (!). .
