Not sure why anyone would want to dissect his words, his actions pretty well speaks all that needs to be known.

And they are his actions and no one elses. His words were a lot of blubbering. And Brexit was treated the same way amongst other things. Can you imagine tossing at night unable to sleep at night because you hate the whole world and want to destroy everything in it? That has to eat you alive. Not how I would want to live.

@Michelle aren't you married to a Muslim Gent?

No. I am an Atheist and my husband is not a very strict Christian. He is a Republican and I'm an Independent. My surrogate family, of more than thirty years, are Arabs who are Catholic. We have quite the differences in ideology, but it works out fine.

You didn't read the manifesto then. This is the danger of taking things out of context. He was hoping we'd go into a civil war, but that was over the second amendment. Not white supremacy.

No I didn't read it.  Did he say what the Daily Mail quoted?

He talks about leadership; and likens himself to Mandela.  He foreshadows he will be in custody for 27 years and will eventually win the Nobel Peace Prize.

I think it's important to show the flaws and contradictions in his thinking.

I hope he enjoys his time in our state penitentiary.

I hope he doesn't enjoy a single second of it, but I know what you mean. ;)

You can't rationalize the behaviour of people who are this far gone, he was a lost cause a long time ago, and I reckon a few people would have had an inkling.

He won’t be there long, they will ship him back to Australia and unfortunately he will probably just find more like minded people there

I guess it may give some information that helps to profile other potential offenders, but these types are full of rationalizations, that never stack up.

Tarrant, himself, is evidence to the contrary.

Or not.

Isn't this another case of, "Oh we was such a quiet man!"

No. He did mention Trump and the white race. Then he clearly said he did not support him or his policies. He did say he was hoping for a civil war over the second amendment, which is the right to bear arms. He said something about how then the US couldn't get involved in another case like Sarajevo, whatever that was supposed to mean. There was nothing about white supremacy in that statement. I'm thinking when this man goes on trial, the manifesto will come out again as evidence.

A lot of people are taking things out of context for their own agenda. I'm seeing it on Facebook also. Trump and the US only consisted of 4 lines on page 16. I do remember that because I was looking for what was actually said. I have to admit I only read about 20 pages. I had had enough by then. I hear at some point he also mentioned Dylann Roof.

That would make him too happy. He'd have someone to fight with.
