UM-Bot Posted March 16, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 16, 2019 Remarkable drone footage recorded in Georgia shows one unscathed house surrounded by total devastation. https://www.unexplained-mysteries.com/news/326303/devastating-tornado-leaves-house-untouched
RoofGardener Posted March 17, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 17, 2019 This really is bizzarre. What are the physics behind this ? How can trees near to the house be flattened - all around it - but the house not be touched ?
Sir Wearer of Hats Posted March 17, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 17, 2019 Maybe the tornado formed over the house?

Jon the frog Posted March 20, 2019 #5 Share Posted March 20, 2019 The main structure was solid , but at closer range, it's probably quite messed up...
+and-then Posted March 21, 2019 #6 Share Posted March 21, 2019 In September of 1979, I lived through a direct strike from a Category 3 hurricane in Mobile, Alabama. It trashed the city but we only had a single storm death DURING the storm. Down the street from the house I was sheltered in, a guy owned a '78 Corvette. Beautiful, new car. He had it under an open cover, just 4 posts and a roof. The next morning, that roof was laying flat on the ground and we assumed his beautiful car was crushed. Turned out that the roof lifted straight up and fell back down atop the car like a snug-fitting cover that kept it from getting as much as a scratch!
