freetoroam Posted March 18, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 18, 2019 3 eiderdown quilts in protective bags. A sewing basket filled with all different coloured cotton and untold other bits i will have to google. I just do not do that sewing lark, but i got the basket from my gran. An empty speaker box which my husband wants to keep incase we need it one day. ? A sock, the other one got chewed by the dog. A box with scrabble and mastermind game. And somewhere is one earring. Our bed is fixed to the floor and walls and access is by lifting the mattress removing some of the heavy slats, so what goes under there is not daily use stuff. 2 Top

Sir Wearer of Hats Posted March 18, 2019 #8 Share Posted March 18, 2019 Dust, 15 year old university textbooks, 20 year old high school textbooks, unfinished Warhammer projects and some Star Trek Micro Machines. Once upon a time I kept all my treasures under the bed, now it's just tat I'm too lazy to get rid of. Such is aging. 1 Top

It is my experience that sometimes(very rarely, I have to admit), things that are left to lie for a few months/years, are miraculously found to be working when tested prior to chucking out. 2 2 Top

purrrpetrator Posted March 22, 2019 #18 Share Posted March 22, 2019 (edited) an expansive, roll-away drawer, deep and wide, on big casters, around which the custom bed, of grey, and blackened, reclaimed, rough sawcut-streaked and painstakingly hand-polished Wood, was built, but lying empty, because i prefer my coat and jacket on the back of the armless chair, my shoes by the door, and my clothes on the floor... in a heap or three!... and enough room for my terrier to scrinch his way, on his knees, thru to a bone or a ball he somehow lost in there... and scrinch his way methodically back out... and besides the residing by-now-living, I'm sure, dust bunny, thats it!
