MySpace loses 12yrs worth of media uploads

MySpace, one of the first online social networks, has apologised after a server migration caused a huge loss of data.

A message on its website says that "any photos, videos and audio files" uploaded more than three years ago may no longer be available.

Personally i never used my space....but fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu..... that's scary and upsetting...
In the digital age we are so used to everything being just always there that we have forgotten that loss of information and media is a very real thing.

if they had continue to thrive, then the can not be bothered would not have let to the "Flagrant incompetence"

Here could be the reason :

 

The site stopped thriving when they closed the forums. I was angry about it at the time but then I was directed here and all was well with my little world again :)
