Word Association from the Last Letter

Hello!

Here's a word association game in which the new word starts with the last letter of the preceding word.

Proper nouns are allowed, in their English form. Example: 'Italy' is allowed, unlike its Italian form 'Italia'.

Feel free to use search engines, synonyms online, etc.

EXAMPLE:

yeti -> inhuman -> natural -> landscape -> Everest -> trek -> Kilimandjaro -> obstacles -> snags ->

sharp ->

pointed ->

direct -> ...

It's your turn now: find a new word that is associated with 'mysteries' and starts with the letter 's'. Have fun!
