Yule or Yuletide ("Yule time" or "Yule season") is a festival historically observed by the Germanic peoples. Scholars have connected the original celebrations of Yule to the Wild Hunt, the god Odin, and the pagan Anglo-Saxon Mōdraniht.

I no longer partak  : )

& I didnt see where the next word has to be associated with the last word, in the rules? Did I miss that?

Yep, first line of the first page " a word association game in which the new word starts with the last letter of the preceding word."

And the last line of the first post "It's your turn now: find a new word that is associated with 'mysteries' and starts with the letter 's'. Have fun! "

So, to reset...

yule > estranged

estranged-> distant

:D

You did miss the fact that:

- the new word must be associated with the previous one

- AND it must start with the last lettre of the previous word.

This is a great and challenging word association game with a twist :)

distant -> time
