The electoral college was founded directly on presumption that common citizens are too ill-informed to elect a president.

Granted, may have been true way back, but not now, by any means.

lol,

1.  as you see the reason is still valid like never before, (if it actually was the reason)

2.  real reason was equal representation.  even more valid today than 200+ years ago

Nope, the electoral college was founded because common citizens are too ill-informed.

Period.

This just isn't  true anymore.

absolutely, 100% behind it. even when they elected obama  (as much as one can be behind a reality show)

That same electoral college helped to get us in the mess we are in today.

An antiquated system...

One thing I do like about Trump is his aggressive stance on border policy.

see there is something positive about him even for you,

now imagine what he could have done, if libs did not attack him daily, and if he had more time to deal with actual issues.

from 8 tears that Biden was a VP i only remember 1 thing, his stupid comment on shotguns, and if i was not a pro gun, i would not even remember that.  what a candidate, lol  there is no reason to think he'll be any better as potus, absolutely none,

if for some crazy reason he gets elected, reps need to get Mueller to investigate his role in Ukraine gas company, as well as  his son as a chairman of it, or whatever position he hoilds

I hope that we do have a Republican president in our next election, just not him with his incessant childish "Tweets" and ego-centricity.

We can do better.

As for Biden, his potential for president appears in serious disdain

And yet, we've had "touchy-feely" presidents, from Kennedy, Clinton, Trump, and God knows who else.

I will say this.....the one thing that I saw of Biden that I liked while he was VP was the speech he gave at the Pentagon on the 10th anniversary of 9-11. I'm sure someone else wrote it, but his delivery was spot on, heart-felt,  emotional and for a few minutes I saw why someone might have gone in a booth and pulled the lever for him. It's the only speech I ever saw him make,
