Donald Trump 'set for June state visit to UK'

If Corbyn continues to insult Trump and becomes PM then how on Earth can he negotiate a good trade deal with America when we leave the EU?  British politicians should be kissing Trump's ass right now, not kicking it back to America.  We need him, more than he needs us.  The D-Day anniversary should make that obvious.

So that's the outcome of Brexit, running around kissing ass in the hope of getting very bad trade deals which favour the other country and which could be dropped on a whim (if its the USA). Your point just illustrates how Brexit makes the UK weaker

Trump is coming off well in this state visit with Corbyn and Khan looking like immature cry baby idiots.

Did you notice that the Queen seems to really like the President? They seem to get on well which could be good for a future trade deal. Fingers crossed.

Lets see how she likes Farage and Boris over the coming days.

bolded... yes I did - the Queen can have a kind of blank, stern expression if she is just putting up with someone
and doing her duty although she is always polite and diplomatic.. but she smiled and seemed to genuinely
liked Trump..... that was sweet when they clinked their glasses at the end of the toast...

I thought there were shades of Princess Diana in Melania's outfit -

and you have to hand it to the Queen... 93 years old, still in command, and word perfect when she made the speech..

here's an example of why the BBC can't be trusted... even though at the end of articles they always say..
'why you can trust the BBC News'

this bit about the Trump v Khan spat...

BBC article

"Earlier in the day, Mr Trump criticised the mayor of London.

He tweeted that Sadiq Khan - who had said the UK should "not roll out the red carpet" for Mr Trump - was a "stone cold loser".

they completely left out how Khan publically said Trump was like a fascist before the visit and watered
down what Khan said to provoke Trump's response.. so the BBC were shielding Khan and making it
seem like Trump just went off on one for hardly any reason...

this is a perfect example of how the Mind Control Media work... just enough tinkering with actual facts
to manage perception in the way they want it managed..... and the way they wanted the spat managed was
...Khan good / Trump bad....

oh and Corbyn is going to speak at the demonstration today against Trump's visit....

"Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn - who boycotted the state dinner - is due to attend and speak at the London demonstration, a party spokesman has confirmed.

Earlier, Mr Corbyn tweeted: "Tomorrow's protest against Donald Trump's state visit is an opportunity to stand in solidarity with those he's attacked in America, around the world and in our own country - including, just this morning, Sadiq Khan."

oh poor innocent Khan.... insulted Trump and called him a fascist then we all have to get outraged over Trump retaliating -

you have to wonder if Corbyn is trying to incite Muslims to riot in the streets over the Trump visit -
or whether he's being a bit thick about it all...

One thing though I do find rather amusing is that they say "Prime Minister May will be tackling President Trump on Climate Change". This is Prime Minister May who's supposed to be resigning at the end of the week? So that's how much authority she has. And Prime Minister May is the leading expert on Climate Change?

Get out of here with that garbage

The fact that a POTUS is such a child he cant refrain from insulting the mayor of a town he is visiting, as he is on arrival, is a news story in and of itself. What he is responding to doesnt matter at all . The fact that so many think the standards of the office are flexible based on emotions is simply frightening.

Can they not clear the streets of the left-wing unwashed riff raff? We want Trump to fully enjoy his visit here so that we have the offer of a substantial free trade agreement. That will help placate those concerned if we go for No Deal Brexit.

Man doesnt that terrify you? I understand the need to work with America but dang thats a precarious position for ya'll to be in. You're basically turning your back on Europe in the hopes that a very stable genius who has torn up or just ignored multiple international agreements , with the Mexico tariffs being the latest example, stays in a stable mood.

I notice all the time that whenever he mets with people, even those that profess to not like him, they seem to respond positively to him...supposedly in person he's very charming, nothing like the media portrays

And I've seen 5 or 6 articles solely about Melanias outfits and completely making fun of her and them. I think she looks great.

He's surrounded by armed Secret Service agents. I for one would smile at him under those circumstances :D

When quoting Goebbels, you should add a link to the source.

Most of us like and prefer the USA.

Can we not sort something out so we can become the 51st, 52nd, 53rd, and 54th states, while keeping Queenie?

So it was Trump that snubbed Corbyn (sniggers).

Under 10,000 protestors against Trump today and the rain is already making them go home.

So why should my country be held hostage by less than 10,000 left-wing extremists and hyper-hysterical loonies who believe everything right-wing is fascism?

Or he's meeting with professional politicians. The ones who have a clue what diplomacy is.

Yes, it should be given away to keep the good will of just 1 right wing extremist.

You're a disgrace to yourself and our country.

Good thing is they're afforded the opportunity to protest. What you have to ask yourself is, would they afford the same opportunity if they were in power? I think bringing out the baby balloon is a sign of the level of maturity you're up against.

I know right?

The far-left approach to politics has become about not talking to anybody who doesnt agree with you. With that approach, Corbyn would isolate our country from several big players around the world including our loyal ally the USA. That would damage our economy, our interests, and our world standing. No thanks.

Come the General Election we all need to get out canvassing for our parties to make sure that lunatic doesnt end up in 10 Downing Street. I dont know what kind of delusional fantasy world he thinks he is living in but the moron would give up our nukes, disband our army, and now bring to an end our special relationship with the USA.

What is really offensive is to listen to Corbyn and Khan claiming a monopoly on British values and that Trump goes against them. Trump is what the majority of this country want never mind the USA. Can he not stand in our elections as well as the USA ones?

Whatever happened to taking back control from a 'United States' of Europe and not wanting to be a vassal state? :)
