Still Waters Posted May 4, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 4, 2019 A wartime mortuary closed to the public for 70 years could soon become a tourist attraction. The brick building has been uncovered almost perfectly preserved in the overgrown grounds of Wrexham Cemetery. Built in 1939 as an overflow for the former War Memorial Hospital, it is thought to be the only one of its kind to survive in north Wales. Conservationists now hope to attract visitors "with an interest in history or just morbid curiosity". https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-48108953
