Have you ever seen an old looking animal in the wild? Or any in towns/cities like pigeons and seagulls?

They dont eat sugar like we do so I suspect unless they are fed sugar (like in captivity) they dont visibly age. They just drop dead at some point.

Not Your Huckleberry

We have a Galapagos tortoise at my workplace who's claim to fame is that he was actually brought here when Charles Darwin was first exploring the Galapagos islands. Think about that for a second.

A lady made me laugh the other day when she was watching them. She said, "Oh there he is, I thought that was a rock! So that's how they survive so long... They pretend to be other stuff"

Yeah,see plenty of old roos here, also a few old rabbits which is surprising as everything eats them.They must be the smart or extremely lucky ones.

It just goes to show how long some animals are capable of living for. That is if they can keep away from trophy hunters etc.
