UM-Bot Posted May 21, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2019 Shepton Mallet Prison in Somerset is believed by many to be one of Britain's most haunted buildings. https://www.unexplained-mysteries.com/news/327878/ghosts-abound-at-uks-most-haunted-prison
papageorge1 Posted May 21, 2019 #2 Share Posted May 21, 2019 As I've said before it seems just about every old prison, psychiatric institution, hospital, etc. where great physical and emotional suffering occurred over many years is so-called 'haunted'. Too many quality stories that I've heard. I'm a believer. I am thinking emotions and energies carry on and accumulate beyond what we can physically experience.

Can’t speak to your specific cases, but I do not think your ‘empathy’ theory is sufficient to explain the quantity, quality and consistency of credible reports at all these hospitals, psychiatric institutions, battlefields, train wreck sites, etc., etc.. I think the paranormal does indeed stay more attached to these type of places. Papameter: 98% chance these places have above normal paranormal activity levels versus some random location. 2
