I had that on my clip board ready to paste. Very funny. The TDS is strong in the comments. I found this one funny.

They are so delusional they think he was trying to pass this off as anything but a meme?  Good lord, they really are deranged, the creator of the meme is obvious.

The media tried to fact-check the Democratic debate… and struggled to find any problems

Quote

The first primary Democratic debate last night was a big distinct disappointment for one group of journalists: fact checkers.

Whereas they have been working full time to tackle Trump, for e.g. one recent analysis found Trump lies more than people wash their hands every day, they struggled with Democrats last night.

A CNN analysis of claims made last night found barely any mistakes.

It took issue with two claims by Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan:

Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan claimed that “the top 1% control 90% of the wealth.”
Facts First: This is incorrect. Recent studies show the wealthiest 1% own around 39% of the country’s total wealth.

and

Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan claimed that “the bottom 60% haven’t seen a raise since 1980.”
Facts First: This is incorrect. The bottom 60% have seen their income rise since 1980.

The New York Times fact-checkers also found a couple of exaggerations, including those by Tim Ryan, but no lies.

Meanwhile, the NYT has a whole section dedicated to all the lies by Trump.

No Ravenhawk you have simply been stuck in an echo chamber being fed increasingly out of touch with reality propaganda.

That’s Marianne Williamson.  She is a different creature.  But she had some good points.  I agree with her when she said that we don’t have a healthcare system but a sickcare system.  Big Pharma makes money if the people are sick.

Commentator: what will be the first thing you do if you become President?

Williamson: Call the New Zealand Prime minister and tell her that New Zealand isn’t the best place to grow up in but the United States.

Ed Henry (later on FOX): Is that Make America Great Again?

No.  That is you.  You’re not even aware of how others counter just about everything you say.

I totally am. The last couple of years' its mostly been with falsehoods, "Nuh uh's" and insults. Facts however have increasingly become few and far between.

Its almost like you guys are all following, and believing, a man who lies constantly while encouraging others to do the same.

Weird.

That describes you and the DNC.  The DNC wouldn't know a fact even if it came up and introduced itself to them.

You have TDS really bad.  You’re past angry and are in denial.  When Trump is re-elected, we’ll see if you move into acceptance.  BTW, I don’t encourage anyone to follow you.

My wife went back to get a Speech language pathologist degree which requires a Masters.  We have over 100k in student loans.

Does it at least pay well? :P

Not that that should be the primary consideration, but people need to realize that the debt they are gaining is so they can have a degree. Which presumably they want because they love that work, and thus the debt is secondary, or, because they want to make more money, and the gain is worth the cost.

I'm a fan of the Community College (2yrs) + Transfer Degree -> University (2 yrs). Which is much cheaper. But that wouldn't help with a Masters or Doctorate degree.

Not like the Obama Administration was the "Most Transparent" administration ever. Though I do believe that was a promise made in 2008.

I'm not big on lying, but he's what we got in office. What am I to do? Force Pence to perform a Junta against Trump? He's the duly elected President and he's getting a bunch of stuff I like to see done, done.

It bothers me that the micro examination of Trump pulls up tiny "facts" that are "checked", and lead to him being a liar. The Republicans did this to Obama, and to Clinton before that, and it wasn't any more tasteful then.

Ultimately what we HAVE to realize is that the Media is driven by "Clicks". They post all kinds of commercial spaces around their articles and THAT is how they make their money. They post the most salacious Click Bait that they can... Mostly "Opinion" articles and "Analysis" articles. That are there ONLY to bring in clicks. If there was no Trump, and we had President Cruz, or President Clinton (The Second), we'd see these same "magazines" posting absolutely crazy stuff, and JUST to get those clicks.

It's NOT that Trump is any more a liar, or a thief, or a philanderer, or a war monger, or has crazier ideas... then any other President. It is that TODAY our media is almost entirely online, and driven by clicks. Even back in 2008, or 2012, there were a lot more physical print magazines and newspapers. Today all that is online, and competing for those clicks. More competition means the articles have to be MORE over the top to get those clicks.

At least this is my opinion, on why the media is always posting articles, and opinions, on Trump.

Ummm.... So the candy store that sells the tainted candy says nothing is wrong here...??

I think we'll have to see "Neutral" analysis and fact checking before we can say there were any whoopers in there.

EDIT: Right off the bat, I read an article that said Harris said (in the debate) she supports completely removing private health insurance, when less then a month ago she said that she did not support that. I don't see that mentioned anywhere in any of the links that were inside your linked article. Maybe because they didn't want to?? Harris after all came off as very strong, and posting that she is a liar, or flip flopper, might undermine their "black + female" candidate?

One potential problem for Harris going forward: She came out Thursday night for totally abolishing the private insurance industry, which seems to run counter to what she told CNN's Jake Tapper last month.

Biden, Sanders, Trump, it seems that being 70+ is a prerequisite to be a live chance of getting the nomination, surely people don't peak past 70, unless we are talking about incontinence or flatulence !

I've written that I'm currently a fan (from the other side of the fence) for Booker. He's still young, charismatic, and well spoken. IMHO another Barak Obama in the making. I had some issues with Obama, and his Administration, but overall I think he did pretty good for the USA.

Booker comes out of the Debates in a better position, if you ask me. I'd like to see him take Biden's votes away, and go against Warren.

Facing the reality of the situation is a good start. Only then can you actually make a decision as to whether his behaviors are worth getting stuff that you like done.

Yeah this is what I was referring to above. I was a "both sides suck" guy too and in reality they do. What we've seen with Trump is however wholly unprecedented in the modern era.

Hell just today he said he is trying to delay the census to get the question he wants to be put on there. Ya know constitution be damned, again.

Trump's behavior is abnormal. His actions are abnormal. His words are abnormal. His administration is certainly ran abnormally. When the most powerful man on earth is abnormal in every aspect of his life it is the media's job to report that. You cant lay the blame for his absurdity at their feet.

I think tonight was probably the beginning of the end for Biden's campaign

Rep. Swalwell quoted Biden from 32 years ago to demand he ‘pass the torch’ to the next generation. The VP’s response was telling

Quote

I was 6 years old when a presidential candidate came to the California democratic convention and said it’s time to pass the torch to a new generation of Americans that. That candidate was then-Senator Joe Biden.

According to CNN’s Dan Merica, the line received gasps from the audience as Swalwell continued, “Joe Biden was right when he said that 32 years ago. He is still right today.”

“If we are going to solve the issue, pass the torch,” Swalwell said. “If we are going to solve climate chaos, pass the torch. If we want to end gun violence and solve student debt, pass the torch.”

But why do you say he is abnormal? Who TOLD you he is abnormal? The Media? It's not like they are without a horse in the race though. It is in their best interest to MAKE him be as abnormal as possible. That has to be taken into consideration. Look at Rachel Maddow... She ranted and raved that Trump was guilty of all kinds of things... And then the Mueller Report came and said most of that wasn't prosecutable. Yet, here she was leading the Democrat debates like a flag carrying athlete at the Olympics.

I believe I have looked at the situation in reality. He's not any worse then anyone else that's sat in the Oval Office. He's just more open about it, and gets a LOT more press about it. He's no saint, or angel, but we've not had a President that was a truly "good" man since Carter.

Oh... "Supplimental". Yeah, I didn't see the actual debate. Did she specify "supplimental"?

From the trascript I read online all she did is raise her hand that she was going to abolish Private Insurance.

And, now I find this....

https://www.huffpost.com/entry/kamala-harris-health-insurance-debate_n_5d156dc8e4b07f6ca57ad3a1

Quote

UPDATE: June 28 — Kamala Harris claimed after Thursday’s debate that she had misinterpreted a question about eliminating private health insurance in favor of a government-run health insurance plan. Instead of indicating her support for eliminating private insurance in general, Harris told a reporter she favored enrolling in a government-run health care plan herself.

So, she's trying to walk back her hand raise last night?

Man you are probably my favorite person to discuss politics with so please dont take offense but the post above is insane.

First Trump has lived in the public eye the entirety of my life. He was a known shady huckster as well as a renowned liar and misogynist long before he was ever a political creature for the media to be biased against.

Second I have the ability to recognize societal norms. Lying all the time isnt normal, and again we can back decades to repeated verified lies from the man. People who brag about their sexual exploits the way he does are abnormal. People who stiff their contractors are abnormal. People who feel the need to make up petty nicknames for those they disagree with are abnormal.

Third is just one word: Twitter . See while his supporters love him "bypassing the media" so do the rest of us. The dude cant spell, that is abnormal for a POTUS. The dude engages in dangerous anti constitutional "jokes" and encourages his supporters to do the same, that is abnormal for a POTUS. The dude engages with and then rebroadcasts the messages from a particular news network, that is abnormal. The dude hurls insults on official white house correspondence, that is abnormal.

Finally I have a basic grasp on the structure and function of our government. He hasnt filled an insane amount of positions and many of those he has filled have been done with temporary hires and both of those situations are abnormal. He publicly encourages his employees to violate federal laws and regulations that is abnormal.

Man I dont need the media to tell me what to think of his behavior. My moral compass doesnt shift with the electoral tides.

Honestly I thought thats what the question was too.

Not that im trying to defend her. I dont think she is the right candidate to run against Trump so I really wouldnt mind an early trip up. I have no idea who I think would be the right candidate unfortunately.
