I really hope everyone is ok.. humans and pets alike. That's a pretty serious fire there.

When the fire is out and all tenants are accounted for the blame game will start.  e.g. Blaming the response time, fire equipment used, rescue training, communication problems between the various emergency services, the building materials used, previous fires, previous inspections, re-housing measures, compensation measures, and overall government funding and public fundraisers in that district of London.  I hope the whole affair is not politicized and blamed on various opponents leading up to the next General election.

So harsh some folks are. Damn, if this fire happened in your neighborhood, or to folks you know. Or more dearth of humanity to you if the folks you know deserve the disparaging commentary. Even more sai...

It looks like they are really lucky that fire didn't spread to nearby apartment buildings. FOX is the only US news source I could find. They are reporting that a man and a woman were treated for smoke inhalation but no other injuries have been reported.
