Junk science at its finest.

This is exactly why people at the helm of GISS (Gavin Schmidt) and other places should be removed and replaced and the data records should be restored to some semblance of reality. These people like Schmidt know they are adulterating the data BUT they like the results! And that friends is not Science and it is wrong.

Yes, scientists with familys, putting their careers into this snake oil bandwagon, and greedy people, and brainwashed children, killing any chance of completing their academic careers, (probably end up homeless or selling pencils on a street corner) and gullible adults, that just dig in deeper since their house of cards is looking shaky, or are clinically insane, and have to keep believing so their ego's stay content, all have a vested interest in keeping the BS flowing.

But it is BS, and as such has a use by date; good to see Congressional Hearings in the US, showing this crap for what it is, (can't lie there, or not without a prison sentence).

But the insane are always right, so the 18 years of satellite data is flawed, or oil companies messed with them or put a dodgy one or more up in space; the list of pre-school combacks is limitless, either that or they just forget about it asap, and go back to ego pampering and parroting dogma.

Or finding the latest term for "......climate change", to give that unicorn term some more credibility.

I prefer "Egotistical Climate Change" myself.

But celeb's are doing their bit, or Google is, ...but hosting a swimming pool, environmental orgy of biblical proportions, isn't helping.

https://nypost.com/2019/07/31/googles-celeb-obsessed-search-for-climate-change-answers-is-a-hypocritical-joke/

Quote

Former President Barack Obama, actor Leonardo DiCaprio, singer Katy Perry and Prince Harry are said to be among 300 guests invited by Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin to their luxurious annual shindig which has been dubbed “Davos by the Sea.”

DiCaprio, lol, and Prince Harry, (he didn't invite his environmentally happy wife, which is a plus) and apparently Harry isn't having any more than two children to save the planet, (also a plus, considering the Greta type brainwashing they will get).

And thankfully Greta wasn't invited she is on her way to the US in her solar/diesal engine yaught, (probably to heal the sick, turn crude oil into water).

Quote

It still features three water-guzzling golf courses, and the whopping carbon footprint of a 60m power hungry infinity pool, four outdoor thalassotherapy pools, steam baths, saunas, dozens of plunge pools and a private beach filled with imported sand flown in using more carbon miles.

And apparently this is an environmentally friendly resort, which won an award, (must have a wind turnbine/nuclear reactor out back).

Quote

It doesn’t get much sillier than being lectured on carbon footprints by a prince whose family rattles around in multiple palaces. Unless you count the imminent visit to New York by Swedish teenage eco-evangelist Greta Thunberg, a favorite of Harry’s wife Meghan, who has just placed her on the cover of the September issue of British vogue she has spent all year “guest editing.”

Doesn't surprize me at all.

Quote

The bike lane obsession has proven a health hazard. But Mayor Bill de Blasio’s answer is more of the same, despite the fact that existing bike lanes are mostly empty, even in rush hour, while midtown sidewalks are overflowing and traffic congestion gets worse. It’s a utopian fantasy that more than a handful of New Yorkers want to ride to work.

Yes, sounds like our idiot premier, pushing bike lines, (which Victorians are using since most of it is protected from cars, and death) but closing down large sections of our city for bike lanes and bike stops, is stupid and is turning out city into a greenie, wasteland.

All we need is a freezing, windy and rainly morning and the climate change dream of no cars and bike, walking to work only flys out the window.

Inner city business are losing business, and paying more for electricity, but stupid rules and it will be more of the same.

But maybe DiCaprio will give a "Repent your sins" speech inbetween sipping on his, "Polar Bear on ICe, cocktail" and taking a few laps on the 60m, heated pool later on for laughs, while pensioners, globally freeze to death, in a freezing home, knowing that they are laying down their lives for hycoprates full of it.

As the image on the video shows, climate change at its worst, lol.

And as NOAA data shows, New York coastlines are dropping, no doubt Fi Ji islands are in a similar sutuation, but the premier will bleat the end is nigh, to our Prime Minister, or already has.

Eventhough their is zero evidence of any significant rises globally.

It seems that the biggest bodies pushing this, will get less and less cash in the future, while smaller ones, will go first, (hopefully the concerned, scientists joke) and just like a drowning man, thrash harder and harder to stay afloat.

While, more people vote against it, and they lose more power, until they become a fanatical, minority, that won't listen to reason, and keep bleating.

I used to work in Durango, Colorado as a forester.  One of our projects was an attempt to control blabkstain root disease in pinyons.  I actually discovered the first known case of blackstain in ponderosa pine on the West Slope (It was at Rockwood - you know - the place where Butch Cassidy and Sundance (movie version) attacked the train).

At any rate, I left there in 1987.  In 2005 a severe drought set off an Ips epidemic in the pinyons.  The area lost something like 400,000 acres of pinyons in about three years.  That's how climate change affected pinyons.  At least, there isn't a blackstain problem anymore.

Fewer hard frosts and drought stress have combined to set off bark beetle epidemics in Colorado (pinyons and ponderosa pine), British Columbia (ponderosa pine), Wyoming (whitebark pine) and the south (southern yellow pines).  Climate change is already having major effects on our forests.

Climate emergency, warmist day in iceland on record, blah blah.

Love the Bamby reference, and climate alarmists have the maturity of 2 year olds, which is a bit harsh, 5 year old's is more accurate.

And apparently the House Select Committee, are as dumb as they come.

And l agree maybe this is where ignoring the evidence, is coming from, or believing the coverstory for power generation, and medical threatments and space exploration, and so forth.

Some don't want to believe that this world is built on lies?

^_^ But l agree with Tony, it is entertaining.

Historical sea level trends, and even to an extent the current SEAFRAME sea level trends, would suggest that we could expect sea level rises of less than 0.5m over the next 50 years, which is considerably at variance to current scientific commentary. It is possible, therefore, that the effects of recent accelerations in climate change have not yet started to have a significant contribution to or impact on current sea levels; but based on international scientific opinion, it is more a case of when, rather than if.

So once the if's and buts are taken into context, they are saying the current data does not confirm rising sea levels, on the island group, but based on global hysteria it might in the future. Or in other words, we don't want to lose votes from the percentage of lost Australians, who still buy this crap, so we will stay in the middle.

http://icecap.us/index.php/go/joes-blog/pacific_island_sea_levels_are_not_rising/

http://www.bom.gov.au/ntc/IDO60026/IDO60026.2010.pdf

39CoEEL.jpg

This is from 1990 to last year, (pdf) or it was, (sea level) was up in 2014 and declined after that date, and this was happening when the island group was supposedly having a climate emergency, and drowning, lol, or when AU, was having record hot years.

I heard our Prime Minister Pi***ed away almost a billion to fight nonsense, or nothing, and he knows it is nonsense, so he must be doing it to win votes, or for some other perk, (military base perhaps)?

He installed the SeaFrame series of sensors in the island group to know whether this global warming, rising sea levels, sinking islands bleating is legit.

It wasn't, just hot air, and lies, so to speak, or a money grab, same thing.

And the chart was for Nauru, (the supposedly most affected island).

So the premier for Nauru is either a fool, or bleating for a cash injection?

But let's not harp on this BS smokescreen, and see what Greta is up to, sailing to the promised land and such.

https://abcnews.go.com/Technology/wireStory/sailing-team-fly-crew-us-bring-thunberg-boat-65021301

Quote

The sailing team that's taking climate activist Greta Thunberg from England to the United States aboard a high-tech racing yacht says it will fly two crew across the Atlantic to bring the boat back, but that the carbon emissions from their flights will be compensated for.

Irony, being the key word.

Quote

Cova said the team recognizes it's "an imperfect solution" but believes offsetting the emissions by funding carbon-reducing projects elsewhere "is better than doing nothing."

Well, ....ing joke is closer. Better than doing nothing, l dunno, pensioners, globally won't agree.

But l am sure She can plant some tree's or adopt the one sheet of toilet paper philosophy?

And she needs her own film crew to take plenty of hero shots or her crying, because of the evil deniers, or that Google didn't invite her to their Pool, orgy, party?

And speaking of the equivalent of the rich having a party, and riding the carriage over the poor on the way there in France in the 1700's

Quote

The Post crunched the numbers and found that 114 flights from Los Angeles to Palermo, Italy, where Camp guests landed, would spew an estimated 100,000 kilograms of CO2 into the air.

“Google Camp is meant to be a place where influential people get together to discuss how to make the world better,” one regular attendee told The Post.

Just sounds like BS PR, nothing more.

https://www.roccofortehotels.com/hotels-and-resorts/verdura-resort/villas/

Quote

Guests dine among ancient temples and are treated to performances by the likes of Sting, Elton John and Coldplay’s Chris Martin, before retiring to their suites at the Verdura Resort.

The tech company goes to extreme measures to keep its camp a secret — all hotel staff and security have to sign nondisclosure agreements, a source told the Daily Mail in 2018.

Elton John, he will probably sing, Candle in the Wind? Sting, probably sing, If l Ever Lose my Faith in You?

Maybe they should talk about all of the deisel and jet fuel they used to get there, or the tens of millions of the poor in cold regions, globally, freezing to death, due to increases in fuel costs due to these f.....wits pushing this crap?

French revolution all over again, the elite wealthy pushing this crap for their own bloated ego's, and riding over the poor on the way there.

And for laughs.

I hope that the world will end again, l keep missing it, lol.

With the solid evidence building, (congressional hearings, etc) l guess that the faithful have turned to licking their wounds and hoping we forget about their comments, or the bandwagon has lost its wheels and is being dragged by an almost dead horse.

But there are still plenty of nutjobs left that won't stop until a nationwide disaster strikes, (Germany was in negative growth last quarter, and is heading towards recession, partially due to this crap, d establishing heavy industry).

New Zealand is a disaster waiting to happen, and Victoria, AU, (my state) should get rid of our dimwit within the next few years,.....finally, (moron has already closed one that used to generate 22% of our electricity with three left)!

It seems that the scales are tipping and good science is filtering into the junk science arena.

I am told that the warmest recorded temp in Greenland was taken on a small island just off the coast in the Arctic Ocean that had a temp of 84F on the day Robert Peary discovered it.

BTW:  that's not an "offocial" temp.

Your graph only covers 28 years, hardly enough to draw a conclusion from.  At a rate of 0.07cm per year, the rise in 28 years would be 0.0196m - you couldn't see it at this scale.  Your graph is both inadequate and misleading.  Such is the way in which deniers support their dubious claims - lies, misleading statements and fraud.

Learned today in the financial review, that Au, has lost a billion in investment dollars by Bluesteel, (BHP) because our electricity cost is too high.

https://www.afr.com/companies/infrastructure/bluescope-close-to-1b-us-steel-mill-expansion-20190222-h1bma1

Or they are investing or expanding USA investment, since the US's electricity is 70% cheaper than ours, (AU).

Yep, writing is on the wall, our f....witted premier and others, (Labour primary) is going all out to "do something" to "save something" and destroying heavy industry.

So the demented greenies, are having wind turbine, prayer groups, pensioners are dying in freezing homes, and our grid becomes more unstable or prone to statewide power blackouts, since the dodgy crap, won't work when it should.

And we apparently want 100% renewables by 2050, (l f.....ing don't). Or being in the dark on a hot day, with $200 dollars of fridge food becoming rubbish, and not being able to run my online business, is just dumb. And saving the planet based on junk science, is also dumb.

But we should show the world or become a renewable leader, lol, show the world how to torture the poor, have power blackouts, drive heavy industry out, increase unemployment and create a man made recession, based on lies and BS.

Sure we can show the world how f....ing dumb we are, (l know Germany is the world leader in that).

In the next 10 years, India, China and the US, will be the three superpowers, and no impending doom will be seen. We and others will look like complete d***heads, by comparison, and no doubt preaching another disaster, to cover our stupidity.

Got this from the video l posted Climate Hoax, and did some digging.

Yep, this nutjob actually wants to put us or skeptics in prision, since we are getting in the way of Taking action and so forth. The science is settled and 97% of scientists agree, lol, watch the other video, (other thread) and he will break it down to BS.

How dare we present real science showing no change, blashemy.

Lol, not saying anything.

Although another video says, Full-scale model of Noah's Ark highlights threat of global warming.

Or highlights how f.....ing stupid some are.

Cherry-picked graphs don't prove much, especially when they are not at a scale that can show what you're trying to show.

The ponderosa pine seedling paper will be published in November.  It's In Press right now.

The shortleaf pine litter paper is in review.  It will go out to the co-authors for their reviews next week.

I will present a paper proposal at the Forest Inventory and Analysis workshop in Knoxville in November.

The next paper is (probably) about the increasing spring precip in the southern Great Plains.  I'm just getting started on it.  It will lead into a paper on false rings in eastern red-cedar and what they indicate about weather.  I am hoping to co-author a paper with the giuy who collected the major eastern red-cedar chronologies for the southern Great Plains.  Hopefully, that will include a 700-year history of summer storms on the Great Plains and a determination as to whether they are increasing and/or getting stronger or more frequent.

Thast's enough for now.  Have to think about other possibilities before I settle on one.
