https://www.ucsusa.org/global-warming/science-and-impacts/science/scientists-agree-global-warming-happening-humans-primary-cause

The propaganda doesn't get any better than this.

Scientists agree, blah, blah, where?

Quote

The evidence is overwhelming. Record-breaking temperatures, humidity, and sea level rise, along with many other indicators, show that the Earth is warming fast, and that all the heat-trapping emissions we release into the atmosphere from burning fossil fuels is changing our climate.

The earth is warming fast, yeah, that is obvious, Miami's coastlines are full of screaming tourists.

And just under the "Widespread Scientists Agree" header there is a link, that is broken, (this site reminds me of a PayPal scam site) but wait it gets funnier.

Quote

One of the preferred tactics these groups use to sow confusion is to promote studies that either ignore or misrepresent the evidence of thousands of articles published in well-established and well-respected scientific journals, which show that global warming is happening and that it is caused by humans.

No matter how much contrarians try to cloak reality, the evidence is not going away.

Like the PW articles Gore used, lol. No matter how much, true with trillions on the line, they won't stop til the money starts drying up.

Quote

The scientific consensus is clear. Building on two previous studies, a landmark 2013 peer-reviewed study evaluated 10,306 scientists to confirm that over 97 percent climate scientists agree, and over 97 percent of scientific articles find that global warming is real and largely caused by humans.

Based on a dodgy study, Tony H, already covered that l believe. Sorry covered Masterbatergenic Climate Change!

Quote

For instance, on the issue of sea level rise, we know with certainty that it will happen – it is already happening – and projections under different scenarios give us a range of possible rise.  We don’t know an exact value, however, for future sea level rise, because in large part it is dependent on the rate of future emissions, which is unknown.

I love this one, we don't know based on rate of future emissions, which is a bit like saying we don't know if rises stay consistent.

We know with certainly that it will happen, sure give half a million years, lol. I am amazed that people keep bying this.

But from the demented remarks l got elsewhere, not that surprized.

More evidence to show that the only impending disaster is how infinite stupid is?

Queens beach, Hawaii retaining wall from two years ago, (2017).

And this from a month ago.

And this one from a month ago, (all three videos show the same retaining wall, but the first is from 2017).

No discernible difference, duh!

No sea level rise of a few feet or a few meters, no Iceland is disappearing, no Arctic is disappearing, no Rapid, sea level rise, no hottest year on record, and no tourists running away in terror!

The only impending disaster is fanatics, that want to cling onto this science fair joke, that is fast becoming the new Flat Earth religion.

Correction it is the new Flat Earth religion.

It is running out of steam and  most people are sick and tired of hearing about it, and more are sick and tired of paying for it.

It is only the true fanatics that keep clinging onto it, that keep most people hearing about it. And it is the nutcase politicians who are causing the most damage.

Buts lets keep this balanced, or let's have a good laugh.

At least this is less like a Christian sermon, and more like DIY.

He didn't mention Flat Earth theory but give it time.

Why is global warming about politics and not science?  Something to  do with conservatives and the desire to believe only God can affect the earth?

Probably because the science isn't working, (spinning the truth is more accurate) so waving their hands more is all they have left to get more grant cash.

"Every year is the hottest on record, every July in the US is the hottest on record, sea levels are quickly rising, Iceland is disappearing, the Arctic is shrinking, Polar bears and Walruses are becoming extinct"!

It took me half an hour to find the Hawaii videos showing over two years that the above statement is a total lie, or there is no noticeable sea level rise!

Individuals don't want to believe that this is a conspiracy, or that they where stupid enough to fall for it, so they will fight their shaky position to the death,...and l will be there with my chainsaw to make sure that it the case.

It is about religion and politics now. Or if bad science is given to politicians, by scientists who are after the grant cash, or a living, or just don't want to lose their job, the politician, naturally will believe in it, (and if they have no other religious beliefs will really go for it).

Anyone would believe in a climate scientist with a diploma, after all they should know, but when mixed in with other desires and faults this idea loses its appeal.

All you need is a leader, (most likely our leader of our state) who does not have any religious convictions, and believes in this, and you have a fanatic who will ignore all evidence and ignore its peoples wants and needs, and go all out til, we have a large scale power blackout.

We may have a 1.3million poeople without power this summer, or about 1/5 of our state blackout, which is good since in three years time  after enduring this d***heats views, will vote him out!

Even if global warming was real, which it obviously isn't, AU could turn its lights off tomorrow and it would make a 3% global difference at best, and cutting our coal, gas exports probably 13% globally, which would put AU, into a recession/depression.

So anything we do is legit able, so why do AU politicans go so hell bent when it doens't make any difference?

This is where religion comes in, or a politician doesn't listen, doesn't use his mind, doesn't care about the poor dying in cold houses, and blindly accepts the so called experts.

Because they don't believe in God, and this religion based on supposed science, with a small amount of religious quotes mixed in is like a duck to water for an atheist.

What could be better, we will get a great flood, if we don't reduce our CO2 emissions, Our children will burn in hellfire, if we don't repent our carbon sins, and all based on science, an atheists dream!

But in reality in AU, it don't achieve much if anything globally, wreck out economy, kill off our poor and p*** us off. But it will give him and them a warm feeling inside that they are doing something, when in fact they are doing ****all, apart from feeding their ego's.

And since it is a fervent, climate emergency now, less thinking and more stupid is taking over, or show a fanatic the Hawaii beach, 2 year example, and nope, ignore, forget and dismiss, or l will cling onto my religious beliefs no matter what.

And drag us alone with them. THis is like a Flat Earther being voted in, since it has been pushed for 30 years, and then blowing billions on bad science trying to keep it running. By now we would most likely be seeing the dragons protecting our edges showing up on YT, or footage of ships falling over an edge.

This is how crazy it is becoming, and it will be interesting to see just how long the warmists will keep going for this, Hottest Year, rapid sea level rise, nonsense, when Hawaii's coastline doesn't change.

Going by the building shadows, etc midday for the first, and around 10,30 am+ for the others.

https://www.tideschart.com/United-States/Hawaii/Honolulu-County/Queens_Canoes-(Waikiki)/

But tides in Hawaii for this area which are at night, have a typical .7ft variance, or a half a foot to one foot variance, depending on how you look at it, at night, so no, tides have no bearing on seeing no dramatic sea level rise, which should be occurring if the current hysteria where valid.

So climate deniers that are scientists working for petroleum companies don't care about grants or losing their jobs?  The argument applies equally to touts for both sides.

Bad science appears on the denier side too.  WHo has a bigger financial fortune to lose, Greta Thunberg or the CEO of British Petroleum.

Man I know there are some panicked and frantic people on the change side, but there are some very entrenched people on the other who will die very rich long before any climate change happens if they can keep their own scam going.

Sea levels are not rapidly changing, trees have not come to life and marched on humanity to take their revenge. Straw men don't burst into flame because of the sun's heart.  Deniers could actually do with some science too rather than cynical  diversion to non-issues.

Lol, well actually they threw money at this in the 70-80's, to see if it was true, and initially they beleived in the predictions then tried to hush it, but some of it leacked out to the UN, in 1988, (without checking) and it got a hold.

These days they know that it is nonsense, (apart from a few nutters) and either don't care or are trying to spin the hype in making more money.

Use of fossil fuels is increasing, and countries who signed the Paris agreement are also increasing emissions, since w/s does not build economies, coal or nuclear does.

I read that Maquirie Bank in AU, is pushing some new spin on this, called, "Climate Preparedness" or creating clean water, (which is good) and building dodgy systems to create power, (which isn't).

Basically they expert up to 2 trillion will be thrown at this and obviously want a piece of the action.

A petroleum denier, is fine in AU, since the gov, in power doesn't believe it either, but in other countries like Paris, they have to take their beatings or put on a yellow jacket?

:P

Temperatures continue to rise.  And the need for action continues to increase.  Wishful thinking from Faux News will not change that.

This sounds like the conversation l had years ago with a nutter that thought that the polar vortex was causing hot weather, in the US, and after three pages of spagetti science, l gave a similar response that Tony did.

Climate Emergency wake up call, lol, about the only emergency is unbrainwashing the brainwashed, before politicians really do some damage.

Sorry, Flat earth Prequel.

Greta's coming to America.

This has to be the most boring video's online, and she is intentionally avoiding anything red, red is satanic.

I won't say it, but GPS tracking and targeting is grossly unused.

The coldest YEAR on record was 1909 with an average temp of -0.47 below the baseline.

The coldest MONTH was January 1893 with a temp of -0.80 below the baseline.

The coldest RECENT day in the US was Feb. 10, 2011 with -31F at Nowata, Oklahoma.  We had -25 that day.  Broken Arrow had -28.

Like record high temps, record cold temps don't mean much to global warming.  Highs and lows cancel each other out.

Do these record cold temps have anything to do with global warming?  Well, yes.  It seems to be related to summer ice cover on the Arctic Ocean.  The polar vortex shifts location away from open water, bringing Arctic temps to the midwest.

All you've done is provide an example of the damage done by climate change.

Brainwashed to death.

Tree rings, sure dodgy one,s the planet is warming that is a fact, sure if you go to the Little Golden Book of climate science?

The crap this idiot is spouting out is a sight to see, he puts Greta to shame.

And he does rubbish religion in his other videos, so this is what l was discussing before, add a religious skeptic to global warming, and a bullet or metal pole are the only options.

And solid evidence doesn't phase them or it makes them angry.

He also mentioned the proven dodgy 97% of scientists agree with my one, he will prove that Unicorns are real, give it time.

Don't forget scientists.  You left out scientists.

I fear that politicians will try to implement the WRONG policies.  Ones that make the problem worse, rather than better.  They certainly have the potential to do the most damage.

Here is a paper on that topic:

Cook, J., N. Oreskes, P. Doran, W. Anderegg, B. Verheggen, E. Maibach, J. Carlton, S. Lewandowsky, A, Skuce and S. Green.  2016.  Consensus on consensus:  a synthesis of consensus estimates on human-caused global warming.  Environmental Research Letters 11(4).  https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1088/1748-9326/11/4/048002/meta  11 September 2019.

It's an open-access journal.

There are additional papers by all six primary authors listed in the reference section.  You have an opportunity to get an education on the subject.  Don't waste it.

That 97% was wrong when it came off the press.  The proportion was determined using articles published in scientific journals.  If the article specifically said humans cause global warming, it was tallied as a confirmation.  If not, it was tallied as a denial.  Unfortunately, that's not the whole story.  Several articles simply assumed human causes to warming and went on without saying one way or the other.  And some by authors who had previosuly published in support of human causes, did not say in the particular papers that were used in the study.  When corrections were made for this, the results were near-universal confirmation of global warming theory.  There were no authors who denied human causes of global warming.

And saying so at a congressional hearing, you know get thrown in prision for lying! His book would have been pulled and crinimal proceedings initiated if he was lying.

And l wish the Desertrat56, wouldn't keep laughing at himself, we can all see the humor in individuals that ignore all obvious evidence and cling onto obvious BS.

Hawaii's coastline shows no signs of rising, but every year is the hottest, and Iceland is melting,....the preacher is lying!

Explains why it has gone quiet here even LS isn't about, or he is realizing what l have learned years ago, that fanatics are brick walls with an attitude and it take a bullet or metal pipe to make a dent.

I guess the fanatics will dig in more and more until they finally start to realize the fallacy, and l will make sure they do!

That didn't stop the tobacco industry.

Some of these guys may even believe what they're saying.  Doesn't make it factual, though.
