Adding to the US, having harsher winters, and an eary winter, going by Colorado videos, or the planet is cooling.

And l am going to Gold Plate the Ignore Button!

You are mistaking weather for climate.  Weather is what you see when you look out the window.  Climate is a statistic, a 30-year average.  "Normal" is everything within 34% of the average.  Outside of that range, one can argue about what is or isn't "normal," but climate scientists use +/- 1.96 times the standard error plus the mean as the limit.  An event has to fall outside that range to be considered unusual.  If it doesn't, there has been no change.

About snowfall, ice storms, etc.:  Those form near the freezing point.  Ice storms occur only between 26F and 33F.  Snow usually occurs in that same range.  Why?  Because as snow/ice form they remove moisture from the air so that when temps drop below about 26F, there is no more moisture in the air to form ice/snow.  Thus, snowfall is a poor way to gauge climate change; it has more to do with humidity than it does with temperature.  Besides, Colorado's precip is extremely variable in its occurrence.

The US, in general, is not having harsher winters.  That is occurring only in the northeast - New England and the Lake States.  That occurred sporadically between 2002 and 2012 and has been occurring every year since.  We have established a "new normal."  Note that these harsh winters occur only when global mean temp rises above 0.60C above the baseline.  We could stop them by bringing the global mean temp back down to base+0.60.

About Colorado:  that is normal snowfall for this time of year.  A foot of snow usually has about an inch of water in it.  So that storm represented about one inch of moisture.  Longmont's annual precip is about 15 inches, so that storm put down about 6.7% of the year's precip.  Not at all unusual in a place that may get one third of its annual precip in just one storm.  The only thing unusual about this storm is that it occurred earlier than usual.

tmcom is cherry-picking his data.  He told us about the cold November, but forgot the heat wave in December.  That these are both unusual events supports the global warming hypothesis.

If you're into heraldry, use silver.  It has the higher heraldic rank.  But gold usually brings the higher price and tRUMP likes it, so if you're a fan of his, use gold.

Hope that helps.

Seriously, it doesn't seem as though you've listened to a word I said.

Ultimately if you are only going to post climate denial propaganda videos with smug emotes and announce that you are putting everyone with an opposing viewpoint on ignore then this is no longer a discussion and there seems little reason to keep this thread going.

People are taking the time to offer reasoned arguments and all you are doing is messing them around.
