Still Waters Posted June 15, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 15, 2019 A British holidaymaker claims he was thrown off a plane by police in Turkey after informing cabin crew he had a potentially deadly nut allergy. Josh Silver, 25, boarded the flight home from Antalya to Gatwick after his first holiday with his girlfriend, when he alerted staff he was seriously allergic to nuts. The events manager said he was told he would have to leave the plane since it was “against airline policy” to fly someone with his requirements. When he refused, explaining he had told the airline of his allergy before travelling and was deemed safe to fly, he claims he was “threatened" before being escorted off the plane by four police officers. https://uk.news.yahoo.com/holidaymaker-apos-thrown-off-plane-060428612.html
Earl.Of.Trumps Posted June 15, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 15, 2019 I guess they don't like catering to people with special requests in Turkey. Hey, not every country is the UK or the States! hehe I wonder what they'd do if he tried to board with a service donkey "But wait! I'm special!"

aztek Posted June 18, 2019 #4 Share Posted June 18, 2019 maybe it had more to do with his behavior than allergy.
Dark_Grey Posted June 18, 2019 #5 Share Posted June 18, 2019 Good. Open the doors at 30,000 ft and toss out any one with a dog or cat allergy as well
