I work for a large corporation.  What's good for the corporation is also good for me at some point and to some degree, (assuming my employer is not trying to screw me over, which they're not) especially as far as things that lend stability to the company also must lend stability to my employment and therefore my life.

mine too, lol   btw you should check if your condenser coils are on the bottom of the fridge as opposed to being in the back. if so, vacuum them,  might have to tilt the fridge,  or your fridge performance will be affected , a lot,  especially if you have pets, i vacuum mine every year at least,  it gets packed with dust and pet hair.  my mother was gonna buy a new fridge, cuz hers was not cooling, turns out the coil was clogged so bad, it was barely cooling,, after i vacuumed it, it works as good as new

Appreciate the tip. However, my fridge ain't moving. I bought it a couple years ago, then installed new cabinets around it. It's a big 36" fridge squeezed so tight between 2 pantry cabinets I'm afraid to even attempt to pull it out for fear I'll never get it back in without damaging the cabinets. None of my new appliances are undersized by 1/4" like many others I see are. That's good information though.

i understand that, custom cabinets can be pita, hopefully yours works with no issues, if you have pet free home, you may never need to do so, me otoh, with multiple pets, i have to do it every year.

I am not proposing to end all corporations, I am proposing to react with extreme prejudice against corporations buying your senate, having an unconstitutional control of the policies set out by your 'elected government'. Which is obviously the case, and which will send your nation into a sesspool of increasingly overt corruption. A dead end road you have travelled for far too long as it is.

I apologise, but to respond to this utterly obvious corruption - which is in effect destroying your nation, is in effect the real clear and present existential enemy you and your fellow Americans are facing - with the notion 'whats good for a corporation is good for me' is just about the most unpatriotic, unwise, unhinged reaction I can imagine.

Erm.. no. Iran is not like Libya, not like Iraq. The mere fact you and a whole drove of other people seem to regard this as 'just another intervention' only underwrites the risk that is at play here.

Many many smaller corporations might be be better.  There was a time in America, and I believe it was great then, when people talked about personal responsibility and making something of themselves. Having "jobs"  would not have been their dream.   They were farmers and craftsmen and small merchants and proud of their independence..   Large corporations go back a ways but they were not always with us or held the power they do today.

It was a large corporation who owned the tea and demanded the British government respond with troops when we dumped it into Boston Harbor.

But I have not seen that level of obvious "directed" news agenda's from Fox News. 

Mind you.. not that I watch ALL of their shows. Tucker Carlson is entertaining. I once watched a bit of Hannity by accident. But the rest of them are too derangedly anti-liberal for my tastes. There was one woman who opened her show with the most outlandish statements. "Democrats Eat Babies.. film at 11" style of thing.
