How should we respond to alien contact?

Well, I don't watch any of the network news.  I got it from my sister.  I think the FBI would be involved if porn was downloaded on a government computer but I don't know what agency actually has jurisdiction in those kinds of things.  And the post office might be on the same network as it is also a government facility, but I don't remember it being that close to the observatory.

Say as you will DR, but the FBI showed up without announcement, with a Blackhawk helicopter, put work crews around the antennas and at the tower, shut down the facility, shut down the post office, evacuated homes (3), and this was all because a janitor "acted up" - and they did not arrest the janitor????

Please!

I doubt the veracity of the mention of the blackhawk helicopter, but that is different than a "black" helicopter.  So maybe the color of the helicopter was not black.  The FBI do have helicopters but in that area it would be hard for them to find a landing place as it is heavily wooded mountains.  Maybe there is a clearing on the observatory property.

We have little information about the janitor's 'increasingly erratic behavior'. Downloading pornography on a computer would probably have been surreptitious, and unnoticed by others. Perhaps he made threats of some kind. That could have brought the FBI, considering that this observatory (National Solar Observatory) is a federal establishment. Threats could also have prompted the evacuation.

If no charges were filed against the janitor, perhaps this was because he was determined to be insane-- not responsible for his actions. Not surprised by the lack of information either, given the involvement of the FBI. They tend to be very 'closed-mouth' about matters in which they become involved. They could have warned others not to talk about it either.

I suspect that no charges brought could have been because the FBI did not do the proper paperwork.  That happens a lot.  And maybe no charges were filed because it is a made up story, like Earl thinks.  I do know that government computers are monitored and there is a program that flags questionable downloads and activity on those computers.  I just don't know if the FBI is in charge of investigating those incidents.

I do know that in spite of what the program X-Files intimates, the FBI do not investigate UFO or Alien activity.

Here is one article in the Las Cruces Sun News

Quote

Documents: Sunspot janitor told chief of 'serial killer in the area'

ALBUQUERQUE - The mysterious closure of a solar observatory in New Mexico earlier this month happened after the FBI opened a *** Blocked ***ography investigation involving a janitor’s computer found at the observatory, and agents tracked wireless signals used to access *** Blocked ***, according to an FBI search warrant affidavit.

The mountaintop Sunspot Solar Observatory closed from Sept. 6 to Sept. 17, but the research association that manages it has said only that an unspecified security issue was the reason for the closure.

The facility employs a small group of scientists, researchers and students to capture some of the sharpest images of the sun available in the world.

The search warrant filed last week in federal court in Las Cruces said the facility’s chief observer, who was not identified, told FBI agents in August he found a laptop computer with *** Blocked ***ography several months earlier but did not immediately report the discovery to authorities because he was “distracted” by an unspecified urgent issue at the observatory.

I held back mentioning it upon seeing it the first article, but when I saw that a Blackhawk was present in a second article, I took it seriously, especially when the witness was the local sheriff. Blackhawk helicopters are indeed, black.

What it should tell us is, there was more than just the FBI there.  An armed helicopter??I thought only the military had Blackhawks, but I am not positive.

The FBI also doesn't investigate an acting-up janitor at a facility - federal or otherwise. That is the local sheriff's or police's job. And the FBI especially does not investigate an acting-up janitor by sending in a military attack helicopter with them. Use common sense here!

You do know that Sheriffs are elected and often are not law enforcement before they are elected.  A sheriff is not a more credible witness than joe blow on the street.  I still doubt the veracity of the helicopter at all, much less a black hawk.  It sounds way too much like a Bob Lazar story.

Did you read the article from the Las Cruces times.  It was not an "acting up janitor".  Reporting a serial killer in the area is not "acting up".

DesertRat, let me ask you something. The lab was closed down for 10 days. How long does it take to confiscate or investigate on-site, computers?

The Post Office was closed down. The people living in homes were evacuated. Why, because there is porn a mile away??

Chimes., DR, you need chimes!!

DR, you are trying like I don't know what to uphold the "official" story.  Sorry, this is way too fishy, too many holes. You're just not being objective here.

A serial killer that was not named nor arrested. Uh huh. And still, people were evacuated from their homes. Post office closed.

Who could believe this? Who is this masked man, the "serial killer"?  You believe *everything* they sling.

I agree it is fishy, but the internet versions are more fishy than the actual news.  I think it is all getting jumbled up and I am juggling right now so I will look at this later.

That's fine. But if your link shows that it was a serial killer they were pursuing, and yet the head of the laboratory said he was aware of the porn download and was too busy tending to an emergency to report it right away, then we have two suspects - a porn janitor and a serial killer, neither of whom were named or arrested. Ands all that brought to us by the FBI??

I think we have to settle in that we aren't ever going to know. But it was something BIG - more than the presence of a serial killer in the area. They don't evacuate people and shutter the post office and lab just due to the presence of such a person.  And they don't name the serial killer???

Where the lab was shut for ten days, the post office closed, people evacuated from their homes, I can only guess that the threat was active for quite some time. Just don't ask me what the threat was. The FBI got a warrant, so I guess whatever it was that prompted the FBI was not an immediate threat to people. It seems that way. I think somebody got away with downloading *something*, perhaps. And the FBI was trying to home in on the transmitting source. Maybe the lab was tabbed as a site for a terrorist attack, I don't know.  Just a guess. That's all we can do, so I don't intend to keep beating this dead topic.

It sounds like some illegal radioactive material or explosive was someplace it didn't belong.

That's a good one, Piney.  I was thinking they were stopping a terrorist attack or something.
Whatever it was, the FBI got a warrant. That tells me it was not *real* urgent like it would be if a serial killer was spotted, and the warrant also tells me that somebody in that lab did or had *something* - but did not get arrested. Weird.

It gets further complicated when we see that the FBI went in there with a Blackhawk attack helicopter, altho it may not be the FBI's. And the FBI went in there with a work force that manned the tower and the antennas. I honest-to-god cannot think of one thing that satisfies all conditions.

Blackhawk attack helicopter,

I want to see photographic proof of that. It was probably a Bell "Stealth Ranger" and the sheriff was exaggerating.

Not all Blackhawks are black. I've seen tan ones.  It was named for the Indian chief Blackhawk.

Hey partner, BlackHawk choppers are not attack helicopters they serve as troop carriers, and medical evacuation. The Apache and Cobra are the main attack helicopters, the Apache is a really amazing aircraft, the pilot has an eye piece that lases the target, where ever he looks is where the 30mm canon rounds hits. They also carry a compliment of Hellfire missiles, those things will destroy any tank that they can see. While you can mount some weapons on a BlackHawk, they are not considered attack Helicopters.

The Blackhawk could be a number of colors depending where it used. The Tan colored ones most likely saw service in the Middle East if they are military. I have seen an all Black Blackhawk, they must use them in the civilian world.

Your right Government computers are monitored, there are programs that sift through the material looking for catch words. These words can be anything that they are searching for, this is something that is also done on the internet in general. Most kinds if not all kinds of social media are monitored, for all we know this forum could be monitored. I don't know when it all started but after 9/11 many things changed.

I love how the news accounts state two reasons for the lockdown, (porn janitor acting up, serial killer) but the FBI would not in fact even tell Sheriff Benny House what was going on

Sheriff slams FBI's handling of observatory closure: 'It's chicken ... '  FBI mum

SUNSPOT, New Mexico - Otero County Sheriff Benny House told ABC-7's New Mexico Mobile Newsroom Monday he was infuriated at the way the FBI handled the sudden and mysterious closure of the National Solar Observatory in Sunspot, New Mexico.

"I think it's chicken **** the way the FBI handled it. I have a responsibility to protect my citizens," said House, "I think it's paramount that we know what the threat is so we can provide safety."
………..

House is demanding answers. "Is there a bomb threat? Is there an active shooter? Is it chemical? We need to know so we know what kind of man power to send up there, and with out knowing, it's dangerous for everybody," House said, "We have a duty to protect and we can't protect them if we don't know what is going on."

House said he reached out to the FBI repeatedly and was kept in the dark. "We've asked and asked (the FBI) and they will not tell us anything," the sheriff said.
-----------

If the FBI would not even tell the Sheriff, you can bet the FBI isn't telling the public and I would not give two hoots for either lie they told  (porn janitor acting up, serial killer).

As long as everyone is speculating...

The F in FBI stands for 'Federal'.  Perhaps the Solar Observatory is much more than a 'solar observatory'.  Maybe it's spying on bad people...and...

why does everyone think the FBI either shares or should share their classified information with sheriffs and the like?  There is protocol in everything...a need to know.  Since we don't 'know'...we can only assume the sheriff doesn't have a need to know either.

And now...back to the original question:

If they came here...most likely it is because we have something they want...so we should destroy them all...before they destroy us.  Shoot first ask questions later.
