Empathy is a normal human function due to mirror neurons. As for "energy vampires", that's psychosomatic. You think you're "draining" energy but it's a false positive. Now emotional vampires are just toxic people.

Habitat

You should concentrate on bringing positive effects into the lives of others, not be a pest or a parasite.

In a pure theory way.. sure, yes. Kind of like how vampires can want to suck the substance from a O but can't do AB-. Or can get oxygen from living blood but dead blood is not good.... Or how some folks seem to be better able to process iron from spinach instead of liver.

And then there's the theories of empaths and their ability or not to have vamps drain them or not. That's a whole thing.

So... what makes you think/know you could be an energy vampire, and have you had multiple empaths make commentary to your vampiric effects that make you pose this opening topic question?
