House Speaker Nancy Pelosi admonished Democrats for personally attacking one another, warning in a closed-door meeting Wednesday that the party’s fracturing was jeopardizing its majority.

Without naming names, her target was clear: the four liberal freshmen known as “the Squad"

Pelosi is one that should retire.  She is getting too old and feeble and set in her ways.

I may not be in favor of many of the positions "The Squad" takes but I am glad they are there.  Both parties need new young representatives who represent their districts and are not yet part of the machine.  Pelosi, McConnell and the other "old boy" leaders are a blood clot  in the body politic that needs to be shaken loose.  If enough new people are elected, the cooler moderate heads will prevail, and maybe compromise and progress will be made.

The truth is that the democrats have done damage to their party by allowing far left socialists (who should be in the socialist party) into the democratic party, all in the name of getting more votes.  Long term this will be the ultimate weakening of their party as they now have attracted a group of young voters that isn't going to agree with a moderate democratic stance.

In some cases it is too late for a moderate approach and I find it interesting that you use the word "socialist" as a detraction.  We have social security, medicare, medicaid, food stamps, federal regulation...  So what is it you don't like about the socialism that the young democrats are proposing?  They may be idealistic but they will learn and they will make necessary changes.  We can no longer sustain the "good ol' boy" attitude and the status quo.  It's their time, and I hope we don't have to wait for people like Pelosi and other ancient sentators and congress people to die to make the changes we need.  Right now all I see Pelosi doing is milking the system for every penny she can get, just like many before her.  We need term limits.

So what is it you don't like about the socialism

Socialism on a large scale causes businesses to flee and kills innovation.  Sound cliché? Don't believe it?  How about all those great operating systems in Europe?  You like those?  How about the huge online sellers like Amazon?  Their great search engines?  international food chains?  Coffee?  They got nothing.  They have airbus which only exists because governments fund it.  You like that kind of socialism, then go where it already exists I say.  I'm all for free market and have no doubt it's superior to big government.

I don't think we are anywhere near that and probably won't be until we have one world government.  And then when that happens the aliens will finally land and take over.

Can the same be said about Republicans allowing far right extremeists into their party?

Maybe this is a good thing for the American people.  Maybe both bloated parties should shatter and be allowed to fade.  Get the money and corruption out of politics.

That is my theory.  The republicans absorbing the tea party and the democrats absorbing the socialists ultimately will have the effect of dissatisfaction for large parts of the voter base.  I see moderate and liberal republican's more like libertarian's  and more extreme left democrats more like socialists.  I think both Libertarian and green parties are going to branch away from the repub and dem parties and we will have at least four viable choices.  But of the two I would say the democrats have damaged themselves more moving left than the republicans have.

@Azteck You mean just like a misogynist telling a woman she made up a reason something happened and it had nothing to do with being female?

You'll notice that - in the article - when asked about the behavior of the Democratic Party, she IMMEDIATELY plays the race card ?

Yes, it's a big generalization.  Your products do not have the worldwide impact that ours do though.  Deny it.
