Pelosi Picks on newly elected women of color

Of course she’s accusing Pelosi of misogyny and racism. What other reasons could there possibly be for the most senior elected democrat to try to get other democrats to be team players? It couldn’t be because she’s an overrated loudmouthed self important no nothing idiot, right?

Polarizing Congress and the Senate into "teams" is counter productive.  The point is once elected they ALL have to work together and Pelosi has never done that, she has always played the Them VS Us card and that is part of the reason the U.S. government is in the shithole, there is no representation for the people by the people, it is for the corporations by the politicians.

every gvmnt is like that,  always on the side that gives them money,  and if it is not on the side of corporations it is on its own side, like in socialist\communist countries, again not on people side,  there is no gvmnt in the world that is on people side, and never will be. accept it, get used to it, adopt, and realize, no one cares about you,

I just thought of something I really miss from Germany, Snickers bars with hazelnuts instead of peanuts.  That is something you can't get in the U.S. that could be exported.

To late! We have them now. Next time you stop at a convenience store check out the candy bar section.

I have not seen them in this area.  I remember in 2010 I found dark chocolate kit kat that never showed up in Albuquerque until 2 years later and the only place I can find them is Walgreens.  What brand convenience store have you seen them?

I guess candy is more interesting than politics.  :P

I scanned them at a roadrunner here in virginia. Yeah candy is way more fun to talk about than politics. <G>  Not at all surpised aoc played the race card. It's called projecting, google that one. It's a symptom of extreme narcissism.

"It's really just pointing out the pattern, right? We're not talking about just progressives, it's signaling out four individuals," Ocasio-Cortez told CNN on Capitol Hill. "And knowing the media environment that we're operating in, knowing the amount of death threats that we get, knowing the amount of concentration detention, I think it's just worth asking why."

Asked if she thinks Pelosi has racial animus or is racist, Ocasio-Cortez said unequivocally, "No, no, absolutely not, absolutely not."

That, my friend, is context. These women are getting death threats all the time for being women of colour and Pelosi has been stoking the fire. That's why she spoke out.

Honestly, Pelosi is the worst kind of establishment Democrat. She's one of the substantial minority of Dems bought and paid for by big money. Cortez, in the mould of Sanders, represents the opposite.

No.  That my friend is backtracking.  She goes to pains to point out that it is young women of color that Pelosi is picking on insinuating that, that is the reason she's picking on them.  It's the go to victim narrative that people on the left use time and again.  After she is called out for using her blame thrower :gun: of weaponized victimhood she tries to pretend like that's not what she did but anyone thinking for themselves can plainly see that's just not true.

Just like when she went to the border to pretend like she was seeing an atrocious situation? What a mortifying parking lot!

She's atrocious. She's fake. She's an actress. She has no convictions, no integrity.

The real feud she has with them is AOC stated back in February is that any Democrat that votes for anything that is bi-partisan will be placed on a list to be attacked by activist during the 2020 primaries.  https://www.westernjournal.com/hermancain/aoc-threatens-put-moderate-dems-list-targeted-activists-2020-primaries/

In a closed-door session, a frustrated Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) lashed out at about two dozen moderates and pressured them to get on board. “We are either a team or we’re not, and we have to make that decision,” Pelosi said, according to two people present but not authorized to discuss the remarks publicly.

So these four wise ones are putting party over country, refusing to vote for anything that comes from Trump, just because, well, it's Trump. Which shows just how utterly stupid they truly are.

I think the more things seem to change, the more they stay the same. I think the two political parties in the U.S. are a great example of this. I think the WSJ has figured this out too.

The election of Ms. Ocasio-Cortez and Ms. Tlaib should likewise not be overhyped, especially when stacked alongside the dozens of liberal and moderate Democrats who also won House races in November. (More new members have joined the New Democrat caucus than the Progressive Caucus.) Contrary to some fears, their presence in Congress hardly augurs a radical transformation of the Democratic Party.

If they were REALLY getting death threats all the time, video of idiots getting arrested would be plastered all over the MSM round the clock!

This woman has been begging for big time lawmakers to get a raise from their cushy $175 grand, cadilac insurance, armed security, amongst other perks so they don't act corrupt...

She is a scumbag just like Pelosi...you're falling for a con job!

I take back the idiot part of my statement. She’s not. She’s young and needs to consider her words before sharing them indelibly on social media. She’s a young idealist with good intentions.

Yes. but the far right in the republicans are not nearly as extreme as the far left in the dems.

Laugh emojis responding to the above. Let me explain. The more right leaning republicans are more apt to work with the system and don’t hate their country. The more left leaning of the democrats want to topple the system and hate their country. That is the truth by their own actions and statements. If that doesn’t make the left more extreme then I love hip hop

Hate to say this but.....fake news propaganda. The idealistic millennials allowed to infiltrate the democrats are going to prove to be a huge setback for the party in the future. Their compromise in order to attract Bernie voters will fracture and eventually split them

So calling someone out for bucking leadership is racist, if the person being called out is a minority? That's like saying a person pulled over for speeding was pulled over because the officer is a racist. The speeding had nothing to do with it..... right.....

Pelosi is in the right on this, even if it does inflame real racist.
