Pelosi finally figured out what MAGA means! Ms. Pelosi criticized the president on Sunday for his remarks and said that his slogan, “‘Make America Great Again,’ has always been about making America white again.” What kind of sleaze bag racist would use such a slogan? Oh wait.... https://www.lifesitenews.com/blogs/flashback-presidents-clinton-and-reagan-used-maga-as-a-slogan-too Clinton used the slogan in 1991 launching his first presidential campaign. “I believe that together we can make America great again,” he said, as can be verified in this footage. FLASHBACK: Presidents Clinton and Reagan used MAGA as a slogan, too January 25, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) – The ridiculous fuss around the Make America Great Again (MAGA) hats has reached epic proportions. The enormity of the insanity can only be appreciated once you realize that the slogan was first used by President Ronald Reagan and also by Bill Clinton. It was Clinton, however, who during his wife’s campaign associated the slogan with racism – despite the fact that he himself had used it as a presidential candidate. Clinton used the slogan in 1991 launching his first presidential campaign. “I believe that together we can make America great again,” he said, as can be verified in this footage. Wikipedia tells us that “Let's Make America Great Again" was first used in President Ronald Reagan's 1980 presidential campaign. To no one’s surprise, though, it was former President Bill Clinton who made the false association of MAGA with racism while campaigning for his wife decades later. “I’m actually old enough to remember the good old days, and they weren’t all that good in many ways,” Clinton said at a rally in Orlando. “That message where ‘I’ll give you America great again’ is if you’re a white Southerner, you know exactly what it means, don’t you?” See all this "fake news?" No, I won't defend Trump against everything he says or does, but the hypocrisy, well typical Democratic tactics. Always screaming racist at every damn thing and the silly little sheep lick it up. Just caught this bit. So was it his slogan he plastered all over everything while talking about the carnage brought about by the previous POTUS (who just happens to be black - coincidink right? lol) or was it a statement he made at a rally? There is a tad bit of a difference......... Ok decided to look for myself and yes it was the latter : Quote "For People, for a Change" – 1992 U.S. presidential campaign slogan of Bill Clinton Anyways you were saying about fake news? Just blatant pandering for minority votes. America never has been white. Say what you want about Trump but he didn't get to where he is by wasting time on things that can't be done. Even if he did want to make America white again, he's sure going about it wrong, with all the employment improvement for Blacks and Hispanics. The Dems seem to be throwing whatever they can think of at Trump in the hope that something will stick.

Not only does it make one a lawbreaker, it brands them as EVIL. Attitudes like that lead to REAL concentration camps. 2

Thank you @Farmer77, point taken and I can definitely agree that Mark Levin is quite partisan - however, as you would already know, it's difficult to find a left leaning media article or video that's willing to speak up about the ridiculous comments we read or see that AOC makes. The same could be said for example, Fox News reporting something negative about Trump? You'd be hard pressed to find them doing that. However I did find this interesting article on a site I've never visited before. It wasn't an easy task but I did manage to find a video on CNN where a fellow Democrat is criticizing AOC and I also found a video on MSNBC's Meet the Press with Chuck Todd criticizing AOC over her comments.....but guess what? He copped a whole lot of flak over his criticism by the leftist media as you can see below. Quote CNN interview with host Brooke Baldwin, Democratic Rep. Henry Cuellar — one of the first Democrats to express concern over her comments — told the host in measured terms that he didn’t agree with Ocasio-Cortez’s comparison. “I live on the border, I’ve been to those detention centers, I’ve been to those shelters as you know. If they’re adults, they’re in detention centers, but if they’re children, they are put in shelters that are run by nonprofits,” Cuellar said. “I would not use the terms that she used and imply anything else after that,” he concluded. Quote MSNBC’s “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd didn’t get the memo that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is to be treated as infallible at all times, and instead went after the New York democratic socialist with gusto on his program on Wednesday. Quote After AOC’s comparison to the holding areas at the border to concentration camps, many across the globe came down on her for her gross attempt to draw an equivalence. Todd made it clear that Ocasio-Cortez was doing a “disservice” to those who suffered in the Nazi concentration camps, and dismissed the lie that AOC wasn’t trying to compare them to Nazi death camps. “She just did the people there a tremendous disservice,” Todd said. “Be careful comparing them to Nazi concentration camps because they’re not at all comparable in the slightest.” “She tried to make a distinction between concentration camps and Nazi death camps,” Todd continued. “But Congresswoman, tens of thousands were also brutalized, starved, and ultimately died in those concentration camps.” @Farmer77 what I really liked is this interview below from Meet The Press and I agreed with everything he said in it, as I'm sure quite a few others in here will too. The part I really appreciated is that he wasn't afraid to criticize AOC for her comments which has been a seemingly taboo area to go with leftist media outlets. https://twitter.com/MeetThePress/status/1141464659284938754/video/1 Probably should get back on topic with Pelosi and AOC now Edited July 16, 2019 by pixiii Yikes! forgot to post link

The methodology is clearer here: Quote Tweet collection - 14.5M tweets mentioned at least one woman of interest during 2017. We obtained a subset of 10K per day sampled uniformly from Twitter’s Firehose, minus tweets deleted since publication, totaling 2.2M tweets. ---------------------------------- By August 2018, 288K unique tweets had been categorized at least once I think there were a lot that were retweeted, so essentially were duplicates. Millions were analysed, of which 288K were unique Tweets, I think? To be honest, it's not presented as coherently as it should be. 45 minutes ago, Hammerclaw said: And only 778 women.
